Absolutely stunning views! Small clubhouse which could become packed quickly, but the staff is very nice. They had aerated the greens when we played, but it really wasn't that bad. We took uncounted pictures and couldn't get over the scenery! Hope to go again someday.

I really enjoyed this course. The design works well with the terrain, which is rolling hills framed by trees and heather. There are a few blind or semi-blind shots, and the greens have enough pitch and undulation to assert that you can’t relax even if you’ve gotten the ball on in regulation. The length of a couple of the par 4s was out of my wheelhouse, which was disappointing (but moving up a set of tees wouldn’t be right either). Pick your tees carefully and go with it! I was welcomed warmly and appreciated the use of the range immensely, despite the cutting schedule. I highly recommend this course!

What gem this place is! The scenery is jaw dropping & course is beautifully laid out. We were recommended a buggy as it is long & also has a few holes with a wee walk between green & next tee. We paid £35 each, bargain!

Beautiful course, although we haven't played all holes. We came to hit some balls on the range, but it was closed. "Do you want to walk a few holes?" And so I walked 6 holes with my (non-golfer) son. Will come back!

Played June 24, 2019. We called 20 minutes before we arrived at 7pm without a tee time to see if we could go off. The staff member said sure, and asked if we wanted some food. He met us at the club house with tasty burgers and fries. Set us up with TaylorMade M6 rentals and said he'd meet us back whenever we were done. Great guy/service! And the golf course - wow! Pastoral. Beautiful. Challenging. The many holes along the Spey River are idyllic. We teed off around 7:30pm - there was literally no one else on or at the course, so we finished in less than 3 hours! Beautiful night on a beautiful golf course all to ourselves!! We played St. Andrews the day before in the rain and wind, and this was a welcome change. I recommend Spey Valley to anyone traveling through the Cairngorms to/from Inverness. It's one of my favorite rounds ever!
