Very friendly place. Sadly we arrived after last orders for food but as we were starving, the landlady kindly suggested we could purchase hot meat pies, pasties and sausage rolls from a local butcher just around the corner and consume them in her pub with drinks. Very very kind of her.

Nice friendly pub. Bar lady was from out city of Plymouth, so happy to chat. The beer was good and my coffee was very nice. Olde world decor suited the pub. Would definitely go there again.
Stopped for a pint and some pool. Lovely place with a lovely atmosphere and very welcoming staff, also a wide range of local brewery options; both cider and ale. Would definitely recommend.

This is friendliest most good natured pub that I've been in for a long time. You can chat happily to patrons and bar staff alike. The beer is a little pricy, but it is a rural pub and the atmosphere more than makes up for it.
