Visited for Sunday lunch 6 of us plus our dog. Lovely home cooked food, meat and vegetarian roasts absolutely delicious and roast potatoes to die for. Desserts also a must if you visit great portion sizes. A warm welcome and our doggy even got treated to some biscuits. Will definitely visit again.

Thoroughly enjoyed my visit to this beautifully charming pub situated in the most stunning setting. The staff were attentive and absolutely lovely. The food was incredible & being a vegetarian it can be difficult to find food made with flavour but wow the nut roast was to die for. Not forgetting the gorgeous George greeting us on our way out. I will definitely be coming again. X

We visited The Old Inn whilst staying at Hawkchurch Resort and Spa and would definitely recommend a visit. We chose a Sharing Platter to start and it was lovely, plenty for 2 adults and a teenager. My husband had the homemade chicken korma for his main which was packed with chicken and had a lovely, rich flavour. Scampi, chunky chips & peas for myself, so many chips I gave some to my husband. Our daughter had the homemade beefburger, equally delicious. Excellent value for money. Having eaten in the Bistro at Hawkchurch the previous night, it was no comparison to The Old Inn.

Really lovely village pub, warm welcome from the landlord, really friendly staff and an amazing Sunday roast. The pub is set in a peaceful village opposite a beautiful church. Google directed us here on our drive home from Devon and I'm glad it did. If I lived locally I would be back every Sunday!

Such a great traditional pub. Great food. Good sized portions and warm welcome from all the helpful staff and owners. Dog friendly too so this is now our Red Setter's favourite watering hole. Perfect, keep up the good work!

Beautiful traditional Inn with lodging rooms. Nice selection of beers very well presented. It has a large car park at the rear, which leads you in through a lovely patio and outside seating area. The food looked and smelt wonderful, and we will be returning to try it as it was fully booked on this occasion.

Absolutely fantastic. Loved the food and the atmosphere. We took our family of big eaters and they struggled to finish of the well prepared meals. For a small village pub the menu was well thought through with fantastic meals. I ordered Scallops with Blackpudding followed by Chicken with Salad Leaves specially made for me as I'm trying to reduce the carbs. It was nice to be made feel welcome and to have a good selection of beers and drinks available from a freehold. There is plenty of seating inside and out as well as a skittles alley for anyone to have a go.
