Simply Thai

A quiet Sunday afternoon in Aylesbury with the family, we fancied Thai food. Simply Thai was our choice, what a lovely place. The decor was amazing, the service was excellent, the tablecloths immaculately clean and napkins well presented. The toilets we're very clean with glass bowls with flowers in, so very Thai. Above all the food was delicious, good portions, absolute perfection. A varied menu takes time to go through but we'll worth it. The food was brought to the table in good time. Overall a delightful experience of Thai culture, decor , hospitality and cuisine. Thanks.

Don't let the location or exteriors fool you. It's a little gem of a place with beautiful interiors and gorgeous food. Even more gorgeous are the people who run it. We went in as a group of 8 with one 5 Yr old really in his busy bee zone. But the gentleman there was so loving and kind to him, which allowed us to have a peaceful happy meal. Now that isn't the reason why I rate this resturant high. The food was BRILLIANT. Absolutely delicious morsels every bite. Red curry, Thai Grilled chicken, Ginger Basil Chicken, noodles, pad Thai, dumplings, everything was done to perfection. Even the Jasmine tea was better quality as it didn't have a weird taste in the end as they usually do after a while. We have finally landed on our favourite Thai in Aylesbury, favourite people AND favourite food, dream combo.

First came across Simply Thai during lockdown - used their takeaway service. So we knew the food was great. Went to the restaurant last night for a family celebration - food out of this world, decor stunning and original (check out the ceiling!) and staff friendly. Can’t wait to go again. Fond memories of a great night out. Thank you.

Amazing! The food, decor and staff were all fantastic and they had some good vegan and vegetarian options though the vegan ones weren't listed as vegan so we asked. The gentleman who came by at the end of our meal who's family runs the restaurant was very friendly and told us about the area and the artwork on the ceiling that he had actually done himself! Definitely would recommend :)
