The King’s Head - Aylesbury - Photo album

First time visiting this place and I’m very impressed. I’ve heard of the history of the building and was very keen to see this wonderful historic place and inside it was extremely calming. The staff were friendly and obviously very good at what they do. The food was amazing. One issue, maybe look a
A beautiful pub with Friendly staff, good quality beer from a Family owned brewery -Chiltern Brewery(worth to visit) 🙂 No parking available, but try Morrisons. 10 minutes walk from the pub. We will return. ❤️
Excellent lunch. We both had burgers and shared onion rings. All delicious. Highly recommend.
It was a lovely pub in our stop at Aylesbury, the ambience and the place itself has a fresh vibe and the food was really good as well. The outside seating space looked amazing and would be a treat for a nice summer evening. It was relatively busy in a weekday afternoon also when we went for lunch ,
The King's Head in Aylesbury is a quintessential British pub that ticks all the boxes! The ale is absolutely delicious and captures the essence of quality craftsmanship. The cozy interior creates a warm and inviting ambiance, perfect for a relaxing time. And let's not forget the expansive outside ga
Great old pub with a lot of history, beer is great and staff very friendly. It's great to sit in the courtyard on a sunny day. (Edit 2023 October) it's really cool that now you can chill out in one of the Stables. £4.80 for a pint of Beechwood beer, I don't know of a cheaper pint of real beer in Ayl
Wonderful on so many levels. Great real ales, wonderful food and friendly service. For those who like architecture, this place is a dream, straight out of the history books. So lovely to step back in time to a cosy pub, in a world crowded with modern bars.
Used this place back in the late sixties/early seventies. Still the best pub in Aylesbury from both historical and quality of beer point of view. Latest visit confirms above. Great beer and great prices with friendly staff.
This beautiful little pub is tucked away just off Friar Square. What a gem! It apparently dates back to the 1400s but while it has kept that Olde Worlde feel, the ambience and menu are right up to date. When you walk in, there are cosy nooks and crannies with a cosy fire in one corner. We were greet
Lovely place with great food! Their sausages and mash was really good!
Food is fantastic and always to a high standard. Great drinks options. Lovely indoors and out. Keep returning and we will continue to do so!
Very pleasant place where drink a good beer and have good food too. Cozy atmosphere. I love it. My preferred pub in Aylesbury.
Lovely old place with a pretty courtyard. Went this morning for a breakfast toastie from the Food Hall. Very tasty and friendly service. Took a friend who doesn't like Aylesbury at all, but this was a new side of the town for him. This is a charming little oasis in the town and well worth a visit.
Came here for a few drinks on a Friday night, and it feels like you've stepped out of Aylesbury and into a village pub. Good atmosphere, outside space & beer. Can't comment on the food as haven't eaten here before, but would recommend for
What a great pub and eating place. They served me a most wonderful sandwich and a great local beer. All enjoyed in a 400 year old building by very friendly staff. All in all a great experience.
Didn't have food there, but what I saw being served looked very nice. Lovely oldie worldie pub.
