Visited for the first time for a late lunch. The friendliest 4 ladies serving! Lovey place with lots of different rooms. Tables, comfy armchairs, big sofas and a kids play section with ample toys and books. Food was lovely, felt v homecooked. Had a sausage and onion toastie, steak pie with mash and veg and the kids and spaghetti on toast. All reasonably priced. There’s also a big wooden play ground outside with a tree house. Big free car park at the back of the house just off Hall Road. Will be back!

Been here a few times and never disappoints. Staff are really friendly, food and drinks are lovey - definitely recommend the breakfast special on the blackboard. Good little play corner for toddlers inside (and even my 5 and 7 year old girls). And outdoor playground provides them with entertainment too. I always recommend this place to people as a nice friendly cafe to go to.

Lovely little converted house coffee shop. Lovely idea to have a children's corner in a comfy room to allow children (I'd say under 5's) to play inside. The connected outdoor playground is good too and always a hit with the little ones! Food here is good, definitely has that 'Home-made' quality about it. Prices are reasonable, not dirt cheap but not extortionate. Will be returning again soon!

Take my granddaughter here regularly as she loves the play area. Me, I love the coffee and food. The staff are wonderful and always extremely helpful. Could use more tables outside in the summer but always manage to find a seat x

This was my first time at base camp, we went for the Easter egg hunt which was great fun for the kids. The play park there is superb ! Love the tree house/slide and the sand pit! Could have stayed there for hours. The food and drinks are reasonably priced and the staff are extremely kind and friendly.

Great place to go for a drink and a cake. Hot food is tasty, too. Brilliant playground for the kids next door as well.

Nice cafe. Nice rooms. Toy area a great idea although some of the toys were so grubby. Maybe just a book and drawing area would be better? Prices probably about average. We usually share a baguette and cake makes it cheaper 😉

One of our favourite ever places. Such a hidden gem. I take my little boys there regularly, as well as introducing the place to friends and family. Its got a lovely play park with benches, and inside a variety of different rooms, some quieter ones or a family room with a section of toys for the little ones. The whole place has got a lovely homely feel to it, and also has changing facilties. The food is fantastic, with so much variety and the staff are always lovely. We usually go once a week, such a great place.
