Review The Watering Hole Cafe - Aymestrey

We cannot thank the owners enough for going above and beyond by helping us with transport during our Mortimer Trail adventure. Thank you so much. The Full English breakfast at the on-site cafe was just what we needed on the second day of our walk. Beautiful location.

My favourite bike stop that I visited today The poached eggs on toast are fantastic. Great place. Nice environment. Nice friendly owners. It doesn’t get better.

Lovely quiet site. Staff friendly and lovely cafe. The staff are helpful and kind. Only one shower but as it was quiet on site this wasn't a problem.

This small site offers a base camp to stay for activities in near by Breacon, Hereford, Leominster and more. Plenty electric hookups on a nicely maintained field. Family run and welcoming, with a small cafe if your craving that all day breakfast or cream tea. Basic toilets, with small shower cubical, but clean. With another toilet around the side with disabled access and small washing up area. Multi million pound camp site its not, but lovely place to pitch up and enjoy the county. Local walks, and local pubs. Main Road gets a bit busy so recommend drive down to the community center co or riverside pub co or maybe at Mortimers cross for those local walks.

Really nice cafe offering one of the best breakfasts I've had in a long time, all cooked to order and at a really keen price. It's a few yards of the road so you will need to keep an eye out for the signs just outside the 30 limit. Well worth a visit and recommended!

Lovely pit stop for a lone cyclist. Friendly staff, lovely little garden area with tables n that. Their cream tea got me to my destination :)

Amazing friendly warm welcome, lovely little site with cafe and small shop on site. Toilets and showers very clean and tidy. Lovely garden to site in around the cafe area. Breakfast in the cafe very tasty and good size portions, very good value for money. Ideal for a weekend visit or over night stop. Would definitely recommend.

We were visiting friends who were holding a rally on the premises. Nice basic site but owner is very accommodating, they had a portaloo and had erected a large tent for social use. The cafe has good, we had a takeaway fish and chips but there were other meals on offer. Seating is available outside. Overall for our short stop it is a nice place with friendly staff/owners.
