My partner, two year old child and I went there for a Sunday roast and I can honestly say the roast beef was the best I've ever had. Beautifully pink and accompanied by all the trimmings; I couldn't believe how delicious it was. The child's portion was incredibly generous and the goat's cheese was lovely too. Thoroughly recommend to anybody who is contemplating going or not.

What a great place. We visit here when coming to see the family.
The food is fabulous, with delicious vegetarian choices too.
Staff are lovely and very accommodating.
Dog friendly, even with our reactive dog. We were found a quiet table in the corner which was perfect for us.
Wish we lived closer so that we could visit more often!

My friend and I had a delicious lunch of game pie today. Lots of tender meat in rich sauce and lovely fresh vegetables.
Excellent service in a lovely setting, good prices too. Well worth a visit.

Very friendly and welcoming. Attentive but not overbearing. Food was delicious!! Cooked to perfection and tasted fantastic. Great portions and good menu to choose from. fresh vegetables and meat was tender and delicious. I had Sunday lunch and my mum had steak & ale pie. Highly recommend going. The puddings are also delicious. We will definitely be returning customers.

Annoying doorbell sound ringing every 2 minutes, presume to tell the waiters to get food from kitchen. Friendly and helpful staff, good portions for money, dog friendly and brought some water. Decent prices for Easter holiday. Would come again!

One of the best meals I’ve had in a long time. Steak pie and crème brûlée were especially delicious.
I came with my family and we brought our little dog, and the staff were so kind and had dog bowls on hand for Hazel. The whole family (Hazel the dog included) had a wonderful evening.

A place we like to frequent regularly! Went here for dinner tonight and as always, staff are so friendly and welcoming. Huge portions! My partner and I shared a starter and a dessert which of course was no issue, and got our own main. Was honestly burst 😂 food was delicious! Cocktails were lovely too! Car parking is really convenient and lovely views! They also play great background tunes! Overall, good value for money and a nice wee trip outside the town.
