Great fish and chip restaurant with a large choice of GF food.
We had a large order of 7 GF fish and chips so phoned ahead.
Staff were wonderful. Remembered us from our last visit.
When I arrived, the order was sitting waiting, still piping hot.
All food is freshly prepared. The GF food is made in a separate fryer and has separate tongs too. So important for coeliacs.
Good food. Good value. Good service.

The amazing server was a stand out in this place. Watched her interact with many customers and the way she had time for everyone during a very busy time was impressive. I went back to tell the manager this and turns out the area manager was the lady that served me, I can see why she is the area manager 👌👌👌
Popped in to the blue lagoon this afternoon during a trip to Ayr ….what can I say about the place ..well let’s start with our server Megan …although the restaurant was very busy and she was on her own dealing with the customers…she was very cheerful…and happy to help, apologised for our wait ..which on the grand scale was not that long …restaurant was very clean and very bright after its remodel..love the theming….food was great ..portion size was more than adequate..my partner and I left with full bellies. So all in all I’d say a 5 star visit to the blue lagoon in Sandgate Ayr. 😊😊

Reece I think was manager who served me, absolutely brilliant service. I had a few allergies to make sure I was safe to consume. He gave me very good information so I knew it would be ideal for me & my wife.
Great environment & he was really attentive so was Graham who was fantastic
Found on Google...probably the best fish and chips we have ever had, fish was absolutely fantastic and the young lady that served us was brilliant (only been there a few weeks) credit where it's due 10 out of 10 and a definite when we are back up...worth the trip from Coventry
Yvonne and Javed were incredibly friendly and very helpful. They sorted me out with a vegan sausage supper and were the best staff. Can 100% recommend and would absolutely return. Big love.
Had a fish tea at The Blue Lagoon the other night. The food was lovely and the service was great. Javed, Flavin and Wully are attentive and friendly.
Took my partner from Switzerland their for her very first fish supper staff were brilliant really friendly and helpful and the food was excellent would highly recommend if in ayr
Fish is very fresh and the teatime specials are value for money. Staff are friendly and the portions are large only minus is the seating are a bit cramped

Went there for a quick lunch, not disappointed, we got serve by a great team, ashley, javed and zada.

Had a fish tea , was absolutely spot on. Not greasy , very crispy . Chips were fresh . Would highly recommend. Fryer was Wullie Flau 10/10. Was very well priced .Sat outside and enjoyed the sun. Service was brilliant
