Stopped here accidentally, was pleasantly surprised. Cozy atmosphere, clean place, friendly staff. We had a tasty lunch with delicious desserts. Coffee - not that good, expected more on this part. Overall very nice spot to have a quick snack or meal, would recommend visiting if you’re somewhere nearby.

This place is amazing! We were half an hour late for breakfast as we didn't know it finished at 11am, however the manager asked the staff to cook our breakfasts anyways! Going above and beyond their jobs, they cooked the breakfasts and provided amazing and welcoming customer service. When we return to Ayr we will be coming back. This has really made our day. Not to mention the latte we ordered was so good! Great customer service and friendly staff. Calm and relaxing atmosphere. Great decor. Amazing coffee and unbelievable food. If I could rate this place higher, I would!

I liked it. A vibrant atmosphere with friendly staff. A nice coffee shop with good coffee, cakes and a sense of purpose. It’s a pity my phone camera lense was dirty that day as my photos really don’t do justice.

We visited Ayr on holiday and struggled to find a decent place for a coffee other than the typical starbucks. So we found this gem, along with the friendly staff. The best part is actually the quality of the coffee. I have had a favourite place I go regularly for coffee for a while, and Caffe Monza blows it out the water. Best latte I've ever had. Also the breakfast they do is unbelievable. Will be leaving a nice tip! Thanks for making my day!

We arrived 20 minutes too late for breakfast but were told that they were happy to take our order anyway. The staff are very friendly, which contributes to the relaxed atmosphere inside this cafe. The coffee was excellent, and there just isn't a superlative that can do the food justice.. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. Could not recommend this place highly enough, will definitely be returning.

Lovely coffee and a great atmosphere - ,only doesn't achieve 5 stars because of the nasty aftertaste from the scones both my wife and I ordered. One was fruit, one was plain but the aftertaste meant neither of us could eat them. Lovely coffee though and it won't stop us going back, just won't order the scones!!!

A brilliant feature of the Ayr high street! The decor has a traditional coffee house feel, with a beautifully natural style of decor - geometric floor tiles, reclaimed wood features, retro Edison-style filament lighting and incredible wood-carved ceiling tiles above the bar. The atmosphere is warm, the staff are so, so pleasant and welcoming. The aromas on entering are sweet, savoury, earthy and enticing. The selection of food and drink is excellent- traditional Italian style sandwiches, cakes and sweets with French and Americanised breakfast-style temptations. The coffee is delicious, and served in every variety you could want, or need. And to help you make the most of your time to relax, once you’ve ordered, it’s table service. By those lovely people who welcome you in. It has to be my favourite place to visit in town. And I have to come here every time. Save me a seat.

Greatest cappuccino I've had since we move to Ayrshire. The staff are mostly kids but they are so nice and very polite. Next month will be good as they are trying out a new cream for the home made scones, yummy. What diet??? 🍩🍰🍮

Service from the self serve counter was super helpful and polite. The coffee was possibly the best coffee I have tasted in Ayr. I had an Americano with hot milk on the side and it was wonderful. The only thing I did not like about Cafe Monza is that it looked like it could do with a deep clean. It has been extremely busy though, but still. The toasted panini was lovely too (tho priced accordingly), served with lovely vegetable crisps.

The place has an amazing aesthetic and atmosphere but I feel that they are not yet very organised. They take quite a while for the order to arrive despite loads of staff (I work in hospitality and know what it takes to make a coffee, cake/sandwich) but they have improved with that since opening. The crepes look a little bit...sad. Great coffee though, brewed well and not sour like it happens sometimes when not done properly. I always order double espressos and but they always seem to vary in volume. Once I even got a half of the double espresso cup and been told it's a double. Resolved quickly.

I came here this afternoon an am on a very strict eating plan however I came in after 11 when eggs and baken where served so I missed the chance however. Karen was so kind to make an acception for me to ensure I stayed she went above and beyond to satisfy my needs and I would like to say thank you as it is greatly appreciated Karen! Cafe it's self was clean very calm and friendly environment!

Just had a delicious lunch at Caffe Monza. Tasty soup and freshly made sandwiches were top notch. Coffee and the best ever lemon drizzle cake finished off a fabulous lunch. Friendly staff too, well done!

Things have improved.. my husband loves their coffee but the cake selection could be better .I still struggle with the ordering process, find a table, then select and carry the cake to the table, tell the staff member your table then wait??? I truly am mystified.

Lovely place. Great decor. Fab menu. Does sandwiches and puddings erg.. as I say nice menu. Coffee is Fab!! It's in ayr town. Disabled car parking available on street but not at caffe.. however disabled badge holders can enter the high street and park their cars in designated disabled spaces. Inside the shop great use of the space. Good for wheel chair users. Does live music nights too. A great new addition to ayr town centre. Update. They are now doing pancake stacks and waffles with what ever you like(as long as they have it in stock of course) love this place
