Found this restaurant while staying in Ayr, lovely lovely staff could not do enough for us. Booking was easy over the internet and best of all the food selection and quality absolutely first class.
It was so good we came back a second time but unfortunately we now have to head home to Norfolk otherwise they would have another permanent customer.
If you are in Ayr do not pass on this restaurant an bar. Nicola and the rest of the staff will make sure you enjoy your meal.

Place is amazing to grab dinner. Offers a large selection of different foods and drinks and food quality is amazing. They also offer a 2 course for a set price menu after 4pm.
The place is also dog friendly what has approximately 10 dog tables inside a conservatory alongside multiple outside tables.
The portion sizes were also really good and I like the fact that you can switch out the chips for curly fries (a rarity to find at places). I had the chicken tempura and curly fries which was amazing and the chocolate cake to finish off.

I've visited here quite regularly over the years. It's got outside tables at the front and back, it's great on sunny days, and a small car park. The food has always been good and the staff are always really nice. Good atmosphere at nights out and they've usually got a good DJ on at weekends.

I was in today with my walking group. Staff were very friendly and helpful, advising on soups, curry and desserts. All our food arrived fresh and hot, and everyone said how enjoyable it was. And as for the mango and strawberry cheesecake, stunning. We hope to have a return visit

Smiths! When I lived in ayr, nay beat it! The beer garden in the sun, fan-fricken-tastic. Reason I only give 4 stars vs 5 is as sometimes the crowds pop bottles at ye head and table service isn’t provided outside (but that’s me being a picky pickle). Great spot all in all.

Had our dinner here as we are on a weekend break.
Well if I could give them more stars I would. We didn't book but we were seated right away. My husband had scampi and I had the steak with all the trimmings and both dishes were superb. My husband had the lemon meringue pie and I had the sticky toffee pudding although beautiful It came with summer Berry's on top which wasn't to my taste. The staff were very friendly and couldn't do enough for you. Service was very swift and food piping hot.
I would highly recommend here for a meal 🙂
