Phelan's Pies

12:45 no peas. You would think after a lifetime you could figure out how many you need to get through the lunch rush. If in doubt always make more. They are cheap to make. Couldn't even stomach the horrible sausage roll. Pastry soft. My once a year indulence ruined by poor management.

This bakery is an institution in the Burdekin and surrounds. I'm quite confident when I say they make the best pasties in Australia and their pies are second to none. There's nothing like a Phelan's pie or pastie with mushy peas in Plantation Park washed down with an ice cold Fanta!

Nice pie (beef and mushroom with mushy peas).Only downside was I found the pie a bit too peppery (personal taste) and more than two pieces of sliced mushroom in a beef & mushroom pie would be nice...

Absolutely spot on,the best pies & pasties in the Burdekin.

Very average pie! Small amount of mince floating in a sea of gravy and below average pastry - hard, almost bread like. No eftpos... It’s like this place is stuck in the 80’s, when cash was king and tasteless boring food was acceptable.
