An immaculately kept and well run cafe catering to all tastes and dietary needs. Both internal and external seating is available, and service is prompt, polite and efficient. What a find! Such delicious food - we had Dalesmans lunch and Wensleydale cheese salad which were both superb. Service with a smile and many a joke from Steve who made us laugh several times. Will be going back on our next trip to the area.
Quirky tearoom and second hand bookshop. Great tea and cakes and the meals looked good too. Cheery host with many a quip.

Great food, even better service. Went every day except Tuesday (closed) as it was that good. Dogs ok outside, excellent place.
Called in here after our walk, and what a good choice we made. Good friendly service, clean and the music was great. Really worth a visit. You won't be disappointed.
An absolute gem of a tearoom. Lovely staff and atmosphere. They had delightful music in the background and the menu was all you could ask for. Worth a visit.
Stopped off for tea and snack - ended up with a tasty, highly entertaining hour of great food and even better dry repartee between the owner and a few elderly locals who were in for lunch. An absolute hidden treasure in the dales. The food, service and joviality of the host sets this place apart from anywhere else.
The menu was simple but there were little touches that raised it above the ordinary. The service was good, delivered with a dry sense of humour. The sticky toffee pudding was exceptional.

Cracking tea room in Aysgarth. Had the Giant Teacake......and it was. Friendly service and managed to accommodate us on a reserved table as we knew we would be out before the booked guests. Very clean toilet!

A lovely little find yesterday, we were welcomed by the owner of Hamiltons tea room, which also does accommodation. We sat in the garden and i had a lovely spiced apple pie and ice cream, my husband had tuna a mayo sandwich which ame with crisp and a lovely side salad including peppers and olives.
We had a great sandwich and delicious scone here midway on our walk through Aysgarth. Great service too. We sat outside in the garden and enjoyed the sunshine.
