Found this little gem by chance, it was the nicest fish and chips I’ve ever tasted. Cooked fresh to order, curry sauce that was thick and tasty. Even split the chips between two. Took chips away to beach and they were incredibly hot. Lovely staff. Perfect for birthday chips at the beach.

Great range of gluten free options here, and the portion sizes were reasonable - not too big, or too small! I felt remember the last time we had fish and chips and finished it!

Amazing fish and chip shop. They cook everything fresh when you walk in, this means there is a slight wait but worth it for one of the freshest fish and chips you will have Only a short walk to to the beach too

I came to shop around 8pmnon Saturday at the end of July 21. The shop was meant to be close at 20:30 but people were not stopping to queue... I've ordered Rock (named just Rock) for £5.95, cod roe for £1.50, small chips, mushy peas. Tasty, cooked very well, I mean Ell was a bit dry, boneless though. Cash only. Clean tidy place. Friendly staff.

Brilliant for gluten free. There was a queue out the door but the staff do not let it faze them. They were extremely friendly and efficient. The food was fresh and piping hot. I ordered gluten free battered sausages and they were delicious. Tasted just how I remember them.

My wife's gluten free and it can be tough to find good fish and chips. Most don't have it at all, some have it just on a certain day, and some do it every day but it's not that good. These guys have various gluten free options as a core part of their menu. We phoned up in advance and it was ready right on time, with everything clearly labelled. Chips were nice and crunchy with good portions, and the fish batter was superb. We all hoovered it up. They also made a fuss over our 5 year old who went back in to ask lots of 5 year old type questions. We will certainly be back

Great chips and mushy peas at a good price. Relatively slow service at busier times though. We waited 45 minutes for a large chips and mushy peas on a Friday evening.

The best fish and chips we've had for ages!

Literally the first fish and chip I’ve been to that could confirm their batter is egg and dairy free. Normally I get a shrug of the shoulders and told to wait while we go and find the packaging and read the contents. Amazing fish and chip service. Thanks to all concerned.

Fish and chips excellent, service slow. Didn't help that an earlier customer ordered 46 portions of chips. Great that it is cooked to order, but could have taken other orders cooked it and let it drain etc.

Unfortunately, no photos to add to the review... Th shop is easy to find, pebble parking at the back for customers and it can be a bit slow, but we think that's just because there's one chap cooking and one lady serving and taking payment. Now trust me, I'm a 200lbs, 6ft + dude who hits the gym and even I was concerned when I saw the portion sizes. Typical fish and chips, but the fish can be large or small, this is new to me. There's also jumbo sausages in batter, the sausage under the batter is a great sausages. The fish is flaky and tastes fresh, but the batter on everything is very crispy. Maybe too crispy, so has a crunch and rather oily taste/texture to it. As much as I liked the shop, the people running the show, who were very friendly. I was just disappointed with how fried everything was. The chips were proper fish and chip shop chips, the way they're meant to be. Also, be warned. There's a tax to everything. Plastic bag, if you need one. So take your own bag. They offer free salt and vinegar, but ketchup and other stuff is paid for in sachets. They take card and cash payments. A nice place to try while we're here. There's a beef burger in batter that I'm regretting that I didn't try, but judging on the batter on everything else.... Probably a near miss right there. 3*s because I was disappointed in the batter, too dark, too much crunch. Should be light and flaky and not so heavy. So giving them 4*s for the other positives. 5* for the people serving it.

Busy Chippy, friendly staff WONDERFUL fish'chips. On holiday so will be back during our stay.
