Really great fish and chips shop. Huge portions, I think a large chip could feed a family of four. My husband and I both ordered large cod fish and shared a large chip, we could hardly make a dent in the chips. The fish tasted fresh and batter was delicious and really crispy. Chips were also fresh just out of the fryer. We also had a side of mushy peas (good) and a fish cake (very processed and not necessary when you’re getting fish & chips). We ordered at the counter and waited less than 5 minutes for the order. Fast friendly service. The only con was that they didn’t have lemon and you’re paying the same price you would at a pub.

Fresh cooked, tender cod in a nice crispy batter, and light & fluffy chips. Energy prices mean fish & chips are quite pricey these days, but this was a good execution: there’s nothing worse than parting with good money and getting dry fish or chewy chips. None of that here and will happily return.

Great fish and chips, very nice staff too. Order ahead facility is great for busy times. Screens in place and people generally observing social distancing and wearing masks.

Very friendly and huge portions - yes, I know I had asked for large fish and chips, but the portions were easily double the size of what I get in London (and significantly cheaper too). I phoned our order in (we were worried they were going to shut as it was near closing time) and the fish was just coming out of the frier as i arrived - perfect!

Always fresh, plentiful and delivered with delightfully friendly customer service. Edited up to the full 5 stars as they really were a great source of comfort food for our elderly parents during lockdown and the months since. They've have constantly provided great food from the most friendly team around

We really enjoyed our haddock and chips last night. The fish coating was restaurant quality, not at all greasy and tasted delicious. Chip portions very generous as always so we shared 2 portions between 4 of us.

Friendly service, received huge portion of fish and chips that was not only tasty but very fresh! I used to go to Nailsea for fish and chips but not anymore, I will travel a bit further to get better quality of food!

We found this place after arriving back in the UK tired and hungry at 9pm. Immaculate premises, friendly staff, perfectly cooked chips, a proper piece of fresh fish freshly battered - batter light and crispy - and reasonable prices. AND everything was wrapped in paper and cardboard not plaztic. Delicious and 5 stars!!!!

literally, the best chips I have ever had, And I've had a lot of chips in my time. And they are so reliable, saved my bacon more then once! Also is a favourite dinner if I have to stay after school at all. Only possible issue is that there isn't a nice sofa to sit on while you wait.

Great food and staff but do not understand the lack of card payments in 2019. 5 star place if you could pay on card!!! Edit:5 star, all round amazing now 🥰

Some of the best fish and chips I've had for a long time. Reasonably priced too, fed myself and my wife for £8!
