The Windmill Inn - Badby - Photo album

I was looking for somewhere local to go and found this place on Trip Advisor. The atmosphere in the pub when we arrived was really nice. It is a small local pub, and these can sometimes be a bit intimidating if only filled with locals, but not here - there was a busy, bustling atmosphere that felt
A lovely thatched, local stone, country pub. Lovely internal decor creates a relaxing atmosphere. The food is more restaurant quality than gastro pub and good value at slightly above average prices, but then the food and overall experience is certainly above average. A great husband and wife team r
Excellent food. As a chef myself I'm often left disappointed in pub food. But not here. Good value for money on portion sizes and quality. Evidently home made top quality produce. We will be back.
Wonderful pub with a great atmosphere and good ales , staying over is treat as your treated to some fantastic cooking and the breakfast is second to non . Hotel rooms are very clean and comfortable , I wouldn’t hesitate returning if I was down that again 10/10 for me .
Fantastic food and very congenial hosts. We had a lovely evening and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Delicious food, delightful staff and nothing too much trouble. We'll be back for more.
We were out in the countryside walking our dog and were looking for a pooch-friendly pub for lunch. The Windmill Inn in Badby was perfect. Nicely furnished and the staff were very friendly. The menu was just what we were looking for and the food was lovely. Water bowls and treats available for dogs.
I haven't eaten Here, unfortunately we missed last orders but the pub is very nice and has a good selection of beers. The staff were also friendly - would come back to try the food.
Great food, excellent wine and beer; the scallops as a starter were particularly good, as was the the 3 dessert pudding! Packed out on Friday night so book first to avoid disappointment!
Northamptonshire isn’t blessed with many ‘very good’ village pubs particularly when it comes to providing home made fare however, the Wimdmill is one of these special few. Very good food, pleasant surroundings and excellent service. There is nothing not to like.
Good food, good atmosphere, good service, good experience. Lovely village pub. Definitely recommend this place.
Superb pub food with a great atmosphere. All the staff are very attentive as well as the landlord. Steak and ale pie is just brilliant. Great service and food.
Excellent food and friendly service. We were made to feel very welcome. I would highly recommend.
A lovely pub. Excellent food, great service and good ambience. There an excellent play area outside for kids. Highly recommended.
Wow. The staff were excellent, the food was exemplary and amazingly well priced. I cannot recommend this place highly enough. This place is worth a detour, including quite a major detour.
Nice pint of Timothy Taylor's LandLord, along with a big, tasty portion of sausage and mash. Nice pub and you won't go home hungry.
First time here, fantastic Sunday lunch and tikka spiced lamb shoulder plus yummy puds - excellent service and lovely staff - we’ll definitely be back soon!
Friendly atmosphere, and great sandwiches
