Lovely little cafe in Bakewell! We arrived in Bakewell very early on Easter Friday to avoid the traffic and needed somewhere for breakfast.
The menu was great, we both had a really nice vegetarian breakfast with a pot of tea. We saw lots of other people having cakes and pastries.
We had a full English breakfast here after 11:00 which is really nice. It's nice to have a long lazy lie in on a Saturday but still be able to get breakfast.

Always friendly. This is my favourite Bakewell cafe. Good cakes. Good coffee. Easy clean floor that is perfect for muddy boots. Relaxed atmosphere. Lovely festive message on our Bakewell Pudding today. Thank you.

If the bustle of Bakewell is just a little too much, head out to the bridge at the end of the village and find the Lime Lounge Coffee House. Really excellent coffee and great food, and absolutely super service. Really couldn't fault it.

I have walked and cycled the length and breadth of The British Isles, travelled all over the world and The Derbyshire Oatcake breakfast here is without doubt the best breakfast I've ever had.
Popped in for a coffee whist in Bakewell. Decided to have a bite to eat. I ordered off menu which wasn't an issue. Food was fresh and served quickly. Lovely coffee too.
Went for breakfast and it was so good we went back for post walk treats.
My dining companion a sconnoisseur, declared these were the best scones he's ever tasted. I can't disagree. He ordered a second. I got one to take home.
