Service is pretty good, food is so good as well! It’s my first time traveling here to find such a good restaurant with large amount of dish and cheap price, just the place inside is kind of small, but you can sit outside when the weather is good. Recommend it!!

I’d highly recommend you try out this little gem in Bala. All of the staff made us feel most welcome on a busy Saturday night with two young children (2 and 4). I had the weekend prime rib special and it was as good as anywhere, the rest of the food was also top notch. Kudos to the chef and the awesome married couple that served us, what a pleasure! Thanks Castle Blue, we’ll be back.

Their food is delicious. We came around 4:15 PM and we wanted to order the Prime Rib Special that is only available after 5pm. They let us ordered it anyways. Very good food! 👌🏻

As someone who travels a lot for work I tend to be critical of restaurants. Castle Blue took me by surprise with the quality of food and service. The Canadian poutine is quite possibly the best poutine I have had. The chef is passionate about what he does and it shows in the food and the smile on his face when you see him around. Anyone going to the bala area should take the time to visit Castle Blue.
