First time that I've ever stopped in the village for food. The King's Arms was bought over as a community venture in 2021 and they're making a cracking job of it. Attentive, friendly staff with a warm reception. Good selection of food including veggie & also vegan options (well balanced, tasty meals
The starter and main course were both so tasty and great quality food. The waitress was absolutely lovely and so friendly as well. Will definitely make this a regular stop off on my journeys.
We visited Kings Arms on the final leg of our travels around beautiful Scotland in our campervan. We had the pleasure of meeting some very welcoming locals (characters) in the Bar. We had a very enjoyable meal (fish and chips) in the restaurant, the staff were very pleasant and attentive. John Irene
We enjoyed our experience at the Kings Arms Hotel, where we were welcomed and sat next to the cosy fire. All 3 of our courses were lovely and very well priced. There is a bar, restaurant and a separate area with a pool table / dart board. Would definitely recommend!
We were in Friday night with the kids. Its a lovely wee restaurant very cosy and the fire was kept topped up with logs 🔥 we had steak and guiness pie, fish and chips and chicken goujons. Everyone enjoyed their meals, even my fussy eater daughter! Staff very friendly and we will definitely be back
Great welcome, friendly staff and excellent food. We were staying in the village for a week so ate here three times. Every time there was a warm welcome, nice atmosphere and hearty food. Would highly recommend a visit for lunch or dinner.

Loved this community run pub, very friendly, good selection of beers. Food is good & will get better. Tried a lovely Romanian red with our meal, it was excellent & very reasonable. Their choice in music was very good as well.
Wonderful service, food and value for money. Recommend to anyone in the area to visit, especially the steak and Guiness pie! Also the apple pie!! Just go and find out for yourselves..
