A lovely spot with friendly staff. We sat in the garden with our dog. The coffee is fantastic and the cake was too! We arrived too late for lunch unfortunately as we were out walking and biking but I would love to go back to try some of the savoury food too!

Great little roadside cafe/bakery place around 4 miles from Ballater, very warm welcome from the staff on a chilly October morning. Extensive breakfast menu to choose from and great coffee. Nice outdoor seating area in woodland setting close to forest walks and bike trails. Highly recommended.

What a delightful place, with great coffee!
I came for lunch and for their baked goods (which are both excellent), but their coffee took me completely by surprise: their flat white had such an amazing fruitiness to it, I went back inside to buy a bag of the beans they were using.
I went back on another day to have a straight espresso, to *really* see how good they are, and while it might not have been the best I've ever had, let's be honest, I regularly go out of my way to try out specialty cafés and I'm being nitpicky, because they're on the level of some really fantastic cafés I've been to in London, Edinburgh, and Glasgow!
I'd bet there's no better coffee shop to be found within 30 miles, easily, and I've tried!
Also, their garden is such a pleasant place to sit in for a bit, and make sure to get the optional side salad if you have toasties (made with cheese from right across the road, I believe?), it's definitely worth it.

So lovely, we went back the next day. Soup the first day. The bakery had such a lovely atmosphere and we got to sit outside in the sun and chill. Went back the next day and had some very tasty cakes. Very kind staff!

A little gem nearby the Muir of Dinnet. A Bakery with tables inside and outside where you can have some coffee, tea, cake or homemade pies. Also a little store for potatoes, onions....from the region. If you want some nice bread or rolls you have to be early, otherwise it's all gone. Opening times are from Wednesday to Saturday....

Lovely bakery with delicious croissants and coffee. Well worth a visit. Staff were efficient and friendly and our dog enjoyed it too. Make sure you buy the honey when you're there! 🐝

Lovely staff, nice location.
We had a batch brew, which was a really good filter. I'd be interested to what beans they use because it was really flavoursome. There were a couple of vegan options, a soup and millionaires slice today which is great to see. Staff were really canny. 👌

Really lovely little cafe & bakery! Friendly staff, great vegan options, good coffee. Really generous side of sourdough bread with our soup. Definitely worth checking out!

Exceptionally friendly service and wholesome individually prepared to order food. Interior has a homely, rustic feel and a small selection of tables. Outside area has more seating and would be a lovely spot in the sun; unfortunately a little too chilly on our late October visit! Very handy for the Deeside Way, just on the other side of the A93.
