I couldn't recommend this place enough! The staff made us feel extremely welcome and were very keen to help us in every possible way. The rooms were beautiful with plenty of space and it had a bath as well as a shower which was a lovely surprise. The food is also exceptional, both breakfast and evening meals were cooked to perfection. The pub area is also a perfect place to relax with a great range of drinks and a lovely atmosphere, accommodating to families and pets also welcome. Thank you very much to the Tullie Inn for a fantastic stay, we will be back very soon 😁

We popped in here for a light lunch, I had haggis, when in Rome and all that 🤷♂️ throughly enjoyed it. We also had a club sandwich, which was also very good. The chicken was cooked to perfection. What let this experience down was the lady who welcomed us or didn't. We We told that there was a twenty minute delay due to the kitchen sorting out the new menu. But instead of seating us and letting us order drinks, they told us to go. Obviously, trade is so good that you can afford to lose two paying customers. We returned, because we'd already parked in the car park otherwise we wouldn't have. The said lady was our server, but not once did she break a smile. Either she'd had a bad day, that day, or the service industry isn't for her. Don't let our experience put you off. The food was great

We didn't stay in the accommodation but were staying nearby. We did arrive late on but they did squeeze us in for food right at the end of service, which I'm totally grateful for because after we had eaten there was a live band on and the atmosphere was that great we stayed there till shutting time! Food was lovely and drinks were reasonably priced too, overall a great place.

Badly let down by another hotel and booked this at 20 minutes notice. Lovely warm and inviting room. Exceptional breakfast. Slightly surreal check in experience in the middle of a crowded bar but outweighed by the fact all else was fabulous.

Afternoon Tea for four was a real treat. Exceptional service when booking - very helpful with regards to providing specific sandwich fillings for one guest and also catered very well with the dairy free requirement. Waiting staff were very kind bringing out the birthday cake and singing Happy Birthday to a very surprised eight year old! An absolute delight and we’ll definitely be back.

Came in and was greeted by a miserable, older female hostess. We were one of maybe 5 people in the entire restaurant. Felt like we somehow offended her with our mere presence and any interactions with her really put us off. Outside of that everyone else was very kind/great service and the Chicken and bacon pie was delicious. Can't comment on rooms as we only visited the restaurant.

The rooms are lovely, would benefit for having extra pillows in the room. They were flat.
The food was very tasty, great portions, value for money.
Right next to the train station but quiet. Parking is tight and not easy to park, especially if the carpark is busy. Not much room to turn or get out of spaces.

Had a drink when we 1st arrived then went back later for dinner. Delicious food & friendly staff. We usually go to The Blue Lagoon when we visit Balloch but looks like we will be visiting here again. My Husband said it was the best gravy he had ever tasted ! he had the ale sausages with mash. I had the chicken & Bacon pie with mash & veg & it was delicious. The veg was the best I have tasted in any restaurant not too hard & think there was butter in them. Looking forward to coming back soon.

Went to the Tullie Inn for a meal. Service was very slow, there only seemed to be two people taking orders and serving during a busy period. Food was OK, drinks reasonably priced. Lovely outdoor seating area during the warmer weather.

Lovely night watching football and rugby on the TV. Got a couple of games of pool too! Nice food (a little bit expensive) cheap enough drinks, and great atmosphere! Would definitely come back!

Really good food and a very warm welcome and chat.
One very very minor criticism though was finding the door to go in as an A frame advertising hoarding gave the impression they were closed..... 🤷

Really comfortable bed and room had everything we required. Slept really well. Room wasn't spotless, but was ideal for what we needed. The highlight was the breakfasts!! Delicious plates of food both days and great fruit/yoghurt selection.

Dog friendly. Great food. We took our recently-rescued dog with us; he's a nervous boy and can act up in new situations. However, a member of staff made sure to greet him at his own pace until they were practically best friends, giving him a 10/10 positive experience in a new environment.

We had a real scottish welcoming and the rooms were very good, clean and well mantained. Very satisfied with evening meal and breakfast.
Central to boat trips, bus and train station...

Had a lovely carvery meal yesterday really enjoyed it but I feel for the price the portion was pretty miserable and I was left hungry after eating it ...especially the portion of vegetables which if u blinked you’d have missed them ... services was fab and atmosphere was lovely with an Easter egg hunt for the children x

We really enjoyed our stay, rooms were tastefully decorated with a nice big bathroom. The beds were very comfortable. The only downside was the Air Con units right outside the window which whirred all night so a disturbed nights sleep (room 10). The girl who checked us in was very friendly and professional. I had the Venison pie for dinner which was very tasty but the pastry was a bit soggy so that let it down slightly. My partner had the Lamb shank which he really enjoyed. The Scottish breakfast was well cooked and very tasty and ithe waitress was the same girl who had checked us in the previous day and again she was very friendly and accomodating. We will definitely be back but will ask for a different room so maybe we will have a good nights sleep and give 5/5 next time!

Currently on our 2nd night here and it is absolutely amazing! Firstly Jarvis the manager allowed us to change dates no problem when we were snowed in. Room is incredible and big room 6. All meals have been had here during our stay (breaky included ) and has all been lovely and staff amazing. Only feedback I could think of is I would love yogurt/fruit option at breakfast but honestly every thing and everyone is so amazing I don't care lol wi be back over and over ! Thanks all x Nioni

Staff friendly. Waited a good bit for drinks order, food arrived it was lukewarm and pretty tasteless. Place in general is lovely as is the setting but food let it down. Shame really as it’s gone downhill.

We only ate here it was on Easter Sunday so we appreciated it would be busy. Waited an hour for a table then was told half the menu had sold out. The food was ok qhen it arrived but more items were missing from the roast dinner we weren't advised about! Staff were friendly and helpful but it was a little spoiled by the end result!

Started off with dinner which was ok, if a bit lukewarm. Once we had finished we moved to a booth near the bar as it was really draughty in the conservatory area. After a couple drinks we decided to try somewhere else...only to decide to return to the Tullie. To then stand at the bar and be blatantly ignored for 20 minutes whilst every other customer was served and chatted too. Once drinks were purchased and we found a seat, we had to clear the table of a large volume of glasses ourselves and wipe down for the spillages. Disappointed as let down a lovely Easter Sunday night away �

Food was amazing and my two kids completely cleared their plates which is always a good thing. My only slight bug bear is that the service it quite slow. My kids are 7 and 10 and are reasonably ok at sitting but if you had smaller ones this may be more of an issue. Will definitely be back.
