Review The New Fairways Restaurant - Ballygally

Supremely enjoyable!!! It is my birthday weekend and my daughter was taking me for a birthday lunch and I had heard on the Larne grapevine that Cairndhu Golf Club had a new chef and hightailed it down there. Staff were accommodating, friendly and professional and directed us to a window seat with awesome panoramic views. There was just the evening menu available today and as I love my chicken I went for the chicken supreme that had bacon and peas with mash plus I had a side of chips......well it is my birthday!! My daughter had the burger with chips and substituted the relish with peppercorn sauce. A coke and of course a cuppa tea finished the meal off. Lovely and enjoyable meal while catching up with my daughter. Too stuffed for a sweet . Clean tables, cutlery and dishes and service was efficient and looked after us well. A Sunday carvery is coming soon which I will be looking for an update on. Compliments to the chef .

Thankyou to Cairndhu especially chef Aaron and the lovely staff who made my Dad's 80th birthday a very memorable occasion. We held the celebration in the downstairs conservatory, the views were amazing the buffet we ordered was perfect and the drink was very reasonable. Thankyou again for all your efforts in what was the perfect day

I haven’t played 18 holes of golf in a good few years…….but today was my comeback for a work outing and boy did i enjoy it!! Beautiful course, amazing views, challenging from start to finish but a real pleasure to play. Immaculate greens that keep you guessing. If you score well here you’ll score well anywhere. First class!

It was a difficult game for golf in the wind, we had a great day all the same. Restaurants and bar staff made us very, very welcome, along with a few members who made us feel like one of the locals. I can't praise cairndhu and their local community enough for the feeling of well-being and belonging. Excellent setup. I'm sure our society will be back in the near future

Really accommodating with a request from myself. Played a couple months ago. Great course - played on a wet and windy day but still thoroughly enjoyed the test! Even got the round a bit cheaper due to some holes not being in play which is really honest and good.

Excellent food. Friendly staff, a good relaxed atmosphere. Good value and a view that is out of this world. Totally amazing. Will definitely be back again. Would highly recommend it.

We had Sunday lunch here with great company and absolutely fantastic food all for a superb price, and stunning views across to Bonnie Scotland. Wonderful Place. The beef was out of this world !

Course in great shape. Treelined fairways mostly forgiving for a wayward drive. Beautiful day. Enjoyed the golf with some friends. Would recommend to anyone - need to be fit for treking up and down those hills!

Like most golf clubs they have a very good cafe offering good meals at reasonable prices. Well worth a visit especially if you are with the family. Good views help to relax and enjoy.

Fantastic course some challenging holes, some lovely views on a good clear day. highly recommend. Quite hilly if you have a weak heart hire a cart! If not its a good workout.

You will find the most amazing views at Cairndhu , and an excellent golf course , in superb condition . The staff are all very helpful and friendly , and even if you don’t play golf, call in for a meal , to sample good food at very reasonable prices , and see the views for yourself.

Cracking course on the coastal line with some of the nicest holes in the country. The food in the clubhouse is immense and the staff are great. 5/5

Really great day yesterday! Helps I played well I guess. Plenty to keep you thinking your way around. Bar the blind tee shot on 3 (something I personlly don't like) it's a good fair test of your golf! Plenty of hills, good greens, very friendly staff from the pro shop to the bar! I'll be back!

Perfect venue for a game of golf... 18 different and challenging holes.. Great for all levels of golfer :-)
