Oakes Farm Shop - Balsall Common - Photo album

This is like a small supermarket rather than just a shop. There is a surprising amount of stock and range here. The quality looks to be very good and as such you can expect to pay a bit more. The meat, cheese and delicatesant The coffee shop has a nice se
I come to the cafe twice a week on average. I’m always pleased with the food - the cakes (date slice is my favourite) all home made, are huge and very good value. For a coffee and a cake it is around £5, so much cheaper than chain cafes. The farm shop sells sausage and marmite rolls - divine! Obviou
Lovely shop with a fantastic range of ‘farm shop’ produce from far and near. The deli offerings are sublime, home cooked meals too and the on-site cafe is not only good value, but great quality too. They have some great gift ideas as well. Things you don’t see elsewhere. Well worth a visit!
Took the mighty breakfast each mouth full an absolute delight. Highly recommended. Don't miss out. My wife had home made quiche and chips as a side. She was equally taken with the food. You can also buy the produce from the shop. Double bonus
Great staff, amazing food in the cafe and some great produce in the shop. The big letdown was the lack of private baby-changing - just a small table in the lobby next to the adult's toilets where people were passing through or waiting for someone to come out, and staring.
Visited with my grandchildren on Saturday. We sat in the dog friendly area, which was good. My Brie and cranberry panini was delicious. The side salad and dressing lovely and oh those wedges, were fabulous. The children ate all their food too. Lovely setting, delightful service and food. Thank you.
Lovely farm shop. Bought a cake which was made on the premises which was excellent. Eggs Benedict in the cafe has to be the best I've ever had!
Oakes Farm Shop in Balsall Common has become a beloved destination for me, even though I'm from London. The farm shop's charm and the delightful breakfast offerings have never failed to leave me thoroughly satisfied. The breakfast at Oakes Farm Shop is an absolute winner. Whether it's a hearty full
Breakfast was nice enough, other than the eggs for the Eggs Benedict. One just about had a bit of a runny yolk, the other one was hard. Good quality ingredients for both the Eggs Benedict and the full breakfast we ordered. Expensive though compared to other places where the ingredients are of equ
Fantastic place for food and lots to take away.......gluten free brownies are a must, and the sausage rolls....and.....pretty much everything.
Lovely place, nice open setting dog frie dly. The meals looked good, had tea & scone with the trimmings, bought an anniversary present which was cotswold whisky not bad price. We bought loads of bakery products to take home for family. Nice couple of hours, staff helpful too.
Great place to eat, only downside is that I ordered a piece of cake with our drinks, only to be told that it had already been sold when our drinks were brought to the table 5 mins later. They should remove the items when they are sold
The whole location is amazing. The butcher has a great selection on offer, the team are always happy to help. Sian who works in the restaurant deserves a medal. She always treats people with respect, her ability to help customers is first class. We take our dad there on a Sunday, he has dementia whi
This is a lovely farm shop well stocked with great products. They also sell so really good local foods really worth a look around. They also have a cafe so you can enjoy a breakfast or just a drink and cake, with seating inside and outside. The staff where really friendly and helpful worth a visit.
Wow, absolutely beautiful lunch, I had the courgette and basil soup, huge selection of treats and locally sourced produce, first time visit but will definitely come back for more.....
Quality local food, excellent service and something on the menu for everyone! Having booked afternoon tea we were treated to a feast! The staff are a delight and the shop overflows with the best local produce with minimal food miles - outstanding!!
Fantastic cafe and shop. My other half and myself frequent here regularly and are never disappointed with the food and coffee. Served with a smile every visit, great all round.
Second visit in about as many years. Lovely coffee and spotless. Cake available but I was being very good
