Crown & Mitre Inn - Bampton - Photo album

Stayed in Room 1. Good size room, with a great view of the church to the front of the building. En-suite was nice, but the shower was in need of a little TLC (nothing big, just the tub to the shower head was falling apart). Breakfast was very nice and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. We w
We've had a Lovely stay this weekend. The only thing that I would say is that top floor bedrooms could do with blinds on the velux windows.
We had a group of 8 and enjoyed our stay. The restaurant was cozy and the food was good. They were short staffed the day we were there but we were not in a hurry. Rooms were comfortable with good beds. Most rooms had enough room for our luggage etc.
I stayed at the Crown and Mitre in July 2014 with my border collie, Meg. The Inn is totally dog-friendly and our room was clean, comfortable and welcoming. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The steak pie dinner is to die for but you'll need a big appetite to finish the 'large' portion! G
Situated in a quaint small hamlet, this Inn is the hub of village life. We went for a meal on Saturday night and luckily I had the intuition to book a table. The staff were welcoming and thoughtful, made sure we had a table with a large enough area for our dog to stretch out. Seasonal menu, deliciou
This is a nice small Inn. We both had a really comfortable night, not to mention that the food was amazing. I had an amazing steak that was cooked to perfection. I would definitely stay here next time we are in the lakes.
Stayed here Jan 2014 been wanting to visit for about 3 years but I am a saddo that needs wireless in the room and previously they were honest enough to tell me they only had it in the bar (Unlike some hotels that mislead you) so I was delighted when I called and literally the day before all the room
Fabulous food well kept ale,and friendly service,we didn't stay but ate 3 times in a week
I'm trying to get your number and the number listed isn't working. Please get back here with an updated number. Cheers, Eli
Fabulous welcome, very comfy beds (we had 2 rooms), great food and a roaring fire. What more could you want? And reasonable costs!
Great place, cosy bar, room and bedding spotless. Ignore the whinging on Trip advisor about the church bells as they are not as loud as described and are a nice reminder of village life πŸ‘πŸ€—πŸ™‚ Come and enjoyπŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘
Loved this pub, arrived wet and weary to warm hospitality, cosy rooms, best venison burger I have ever had and great beer. Highly recommended.
We stayed here on our Coast to Coast walk. Very comfortable rooms and very helpful and welcoming staff. Very nice dinner and breakfast. Thoroughly recommended!
Great little Gem. Operates as a B&B but open to the public in the evenings for drinks and food. Lovely decor, friendly staff (India) and very helpful.
