The Roebuck recently hosted a Celebration of Life for a family member. The food was exceptional and the service and atmosphere they create was warm and personal.

We dropped in on our way home from Stratford upon Avon for a meal. Service was very good and staff friendly. Food was ok but could easily be improved. I had Sausage and mash and it was fine but the mash could have been hotter and the gravy was a bit on the watery side, also 1 sausage was a slightly overcooked and a bit crunchy. Nice place but a few improvements could be done. Oh and fresh vegetables rather than frozen peas.

We came in for Sunday lunch. I had the beef, which was very tasty and cooked to perfection. The veg was nice and plentiful and the desserts were delicious.

We needed a short break and the Roebuck Inn was just in the right location! We just had a drink of water albeit it was quite expensive for a small bottle of water and browsed the ample menu, the barkeep was friendly and the interior in keeping with the age of the Inn

Great food at a reasonable price in a lovely atmosphere. We were made very welcome and looked after from arrival to leaving.

Absolutely top notch! Food was amazing and service was fantastic too. Had the set meal (2 courses for £16) and it was absolutely worth every bite. And it's dog friendly too. Well worth a visit if you're anywhere near Banbury.

We went in the first week with the new owners for a Sunday lunch.
Lovely meal, great service, really friendly, the new owners came and had a chat. They were very helpful with my allergy of fresh fruit and gave me my desert with the chocolate they will be adding to the menu soon, rich and creamy, delicious.
Prices were what you expect.
It's much bigger inside than it looks outside, the only downside is the parking, a small car park.
