Rock Salt And Sole - Banchory - Photo album

We had a lovely takeaway from Rock Salt & Sole. It was quick, fresh and tasty. They were out of cod and coleslaw when we visited. It’s a bit on the pricey side, but good to know it’s fresh and local to Banchory. Good portion sizes and there’s a sit-in option too.
Best fish and chips I've had in years. Absolutely delicious! There last night, amazing, staff were fantastic, great homemade tartar sauce. Will be back next time we're in the area, couldn't recommend more
Love this place. It's an annual pilgrimage when we come to Scotland. Fantastic fish and chips with really friendly service. It rocks!
Visited this evening whilst on way home from motorbike tour. I have to say it was the best fish and chips I've had in a long time. I unfortunately mucked up my order but the owner (I presume) was quick to rectify things. This is definetley my new stop off on bike trips. outstanding customer service
Saturday night fish and chips with my mum. We chose to eat in and were made very welcome. Staff extremely pleasant and attentive. We chose the seniors option from the menu. Two pieces of scrumptious fish, covered in the most delicious batter, bread and butter and two pots of tea. Would definite
Super fish supper tonight in Banchory! Paul and his team have just got the batter mix down to the right crispness, the fish (haddock) was properly fresh, mushy peas were sublime, and it's inspiring to see lobster, hake and tiger prawns on the menu. Love the passion for innovation and respect for tr
Probably the best chipper I've ever been to. I had the burger and it was basically how the big macs look in the pictures, plenty of thick cut chips too. My other half had the ice cream and really enjoyed it. Oh the staff were all super friendly too, so that's a plus :)
I'm very picky about fish and chips. Rock salt sole never fails to satisfy our taste buds. I got to say aswell what lovely staff too, always a smile and taking the time to have a natter while they get the awesome fish suppers ready for you. A wee nice touch is my son is always offered a lollipop. I
Excellent! We ate there the best fish n chips ever! The haddock was caught earlier that morning. The staff was very cordial and attentive. The best eating experience while traveling over Scotland. You must stop by! Dr. WiL from Georgia USA
Amazing fish and chips, spent 70 pounds here and got the full service. Owner described where fish is caught and showed us the colour of the fish. Chips were lovely, even gave us free ice cream and sauces. Just the nicest place, wish you were in London! Thanks so much
