Well worth a stop on the Deeside way! Superb coffee, tasty pastries, cute garden to sit in. Shop looked great but didn’t have room to buy and try.
We spotted this as we were driving through Park. What a lovely place to find. The shop was beautifully stocked with some special items including delicious sourdough bread. We sat at the back of the shop in their garden, containing apple trees which gave it a very restful atmosphere. Their individual meat pies were yummy along with excellent coffee and tray bakes.

Stopped here by chance when out cycling and really glad I did. Lovely little artisan shop and cafe. The shop is small but well stocked with high quality food like sweets, home bakes, fresh meat, bakery and chilled drinks. Staff are really friendly and with it being a small shop my wait wasn’t long. They also have freshly brewed hot drinks but I just opted for a cold can as was a roasting day. Also bought a few sweet treats called lobster tails. I planned to take one home but after eating the first, the second didn’t make it home. If they sell them when you go I recommend trying them, they are divine!! This shop doesn’t really stock your usual supermarket brands which I loved but the variety and quality is excellent. There’s parking and outdoor seating at the rear but no inside seating. I’ll definitely be back!
Friendly, well stocked shop with good selection of stock that gives you the chance to experience something different in a relaxed atmosphere.
I was there on a mild autumnal day and there was a large, well maintained area at the back to sit for a while and chew the fat for a while.
The coffee was excellent.

This is another great coffee shop a bit outside Aberdeen. Definitely worth the trip. Not just a fantastic cup of coffee but an amazing local artisan food selection. They also serve warm pies and the best scotch eggs I’ve ever had. The pair that have the shop are so lovely and will speak to you all day. If you’re on a tour of deeside add this little gem to your list. Make sure you check if they’re open though as I’m not sure they’re open all the time. 9/10.
I stopped in at the Park Shop on my way home from a hike - I was greeted with fresh-out-of-the-oven pork pies and a wonderful shopkeeper who helped me put together a gift bag of goodies for a friend. The store and owners are charming - definitely worth a stop. Stocked to the brim with Scottish and other goodies.
We ordered a cheeseboard from Charles for Christmas, it was excellent and along with a sourdough loaf was devoured with relish.
