Bangor Tandoori Restaurant

Great little find. We are from Bham and are spoilt with great curry houses and this place would beat many establishments on the balti mile for quality. Ordered North Indian Garlic lamb tikka with extra green chilli which was delicious, cooked just right so you could still taste the heat of the garlic. My wife ordered Murgi Masala and said this was equally as good. Friendly staff and well worth a visit.

This is by far the most delicious curry in North wales. Everything was cooked to perfection, the king prawn garlic speciality was utterly divine, lashings of garlic in a subtle but rich sauce, prawns with a crunch,and no overkill with the heat😋 6 of us had a different dish and were all equally satisfied. Warm smiley and welcoming professional staff. Remember to bring your own alcohol if need be and cash only.. Seriously good food. Thankyou for an amazing dining experience. We will be back soon

Lively spicy food and very welcoming! Had a chicken curry made with Naga chilies and assorted sides, and everything was delicious. But boy, they don't mess around, that curry was veeery spicy. It's interesting though, not so bad on the lips, but you can feel the spice in your chest, unlike other chilies. Don't forget to order a mango lassi! The staff were very friendly. It's a family business and they took the time to chat with me and tell me about the restaurant, and the area, and generally made me feel very welcome, so thank you! It's cash only, but there's an ATM nearby, and the shop near the ATM does cashback.

We went in late for food but they were closing, they were happy to do is a take away and call us a taxi. We normally go to caernarfon tandoori as it's closer to us but we had been out in Bangor. Food was really good and they have some stuff on the menu that they don't have at the other and made my husband a dish they do at the other restaurant but not this one. They both also make me a side dish that isn't on the menu. Always great food and friendly service
