From entering the door to exiting on our 4th day we were made to feel welcome and that nothing was too much trouble. Catered for in every way, rooms were fabulous, clean and tidy. Customer service was 10 out of 10, will 100% stay again.

Superb Chinese restaurant. I ate here 2 nights in a row because it was so nice. Restaurant was fully booked which was a testament to its quality but the staff managed to squeeze me in.
Huge amount of gluten-free options which were all really tasty. The staff were really friendly and the service was excellent, as was the food. I'll certainly be back if I'm in North Wales again.

A lovely little hotel and restaurant. The room was clean and spacious. The staff were all very nice and helpful.
The location is good to walk Bangor and easily accessible from the train station. Unfortunately, it lies directly on the main road, so it is quite loud if you do not have a room to the back. We would stay here again.
The food in the restaurant was also very tasty.

Had a meal here with my fiancé last night and the food and service was excellent. They even had a vegetarian and vegan section on the menu and there was so much choice we took ages to work out what to order!
The spring rolls, Szechwan tofu and crispy tofu chow mein were top notch, and the ginger and chocolate cake (made vegan with vegan ice cream) were all really tasty.
Service was great too with friendly and attentive staff.
We'll definitely be back.

Celebrated my mums 61 birthday at the Garden hotel an restaurant Cantonese. Amazing Food! Really inviting place an people, our servers were very friendly an accommodating. Brilliant service & lovely atmosphere.
All in all I would definitely recommend this restaurant for tasty food an great service. Looking forward to coming back an trying some of the other tasty looking dishes. Happy to award 5 stars

Food Excellent drinks over priced. Menu a little confusing with having to add additional cost for rice, making it on the pricey side. Bit skimpy with the prawn crackers but still had an excellent meal.

Our experience during our visit was excellent! The owner of the establishment is made us feel welcome and invited, which left the best impression on us, as visitors to the area.
All the food we had was delicious, the fillet beef was god tier amazing! Along side some of the best homemade chilli oil I’ve ever had the pleasure to experience. Overall if I could award more than 5/5 I would.

Ok, if you are ever in or around Bangor this place is a must! We live 2 hours away and a couple of times a year we drive up to Betws-y-Coed. We spend the day doing some activity, then in the evening we always have dinner at the Garden Hotel Cantonese. It has become part of our trips to North Wales and I honestly don't think I could pass the area and not visit. Its not just about the food with this place, which by the way is divine. All fresh ingredients that are cooked to perfection and leagues above anything else on offer in the area. It's the atmosphere and the fact that Sandra and the team make each and everyone of the customers feel like they are old friends, visiting for a catch up. She welcomes you with a genuine smile and open arms, always attentive and warm. I only have two grumbles really. Firstly, that I don't live closer and secondly that despite my persistent requests, Andrew won't give me the recipe to his incredible chilli oil! Please, please convince him to start selling that in jars! I'd be his best customer! Look forward to our next visit, keep doing what you're doing because it's perfect. ❤️

Absolutely love this restaurant and would recommend it to anyone. Beautiful food that caters amazingly for gluten free. There's a huge choice (as well as vegan amd vegetarian) and very trustworthy in terms of cross contamination. They seriously know their stuff. Staff are fantastic and so friendly. Just wish we could visit more often!
