The University have been spending to improve this area since our last visit and have done a nice job too.
Firstly, there is now a toilet available on site (find it's location before you go walking!) with lovely walks and garden areas (inc Japanese themed) to enjoy, map boards available. There are some fenced off areas (wild garden meadows) to protect plants. Some benches and tables scattered about.
The woodland walks are relaxing with views to Anglesey through the forest. Take care with children on the lower path above the Straits as there are some steep drop offs. Dogs must be on a lead in all locations as there are red squirrels in the area along with heron nests. Buzzards also float about looking for prey.
Access is free but parking is very limited so maybe park in Menai Bridge and walk over the suspension bridge and turn right into Treborth. Disabled access largely weather dependent for most of the area as tracks can get soft and muddy. No shops at all, so carry own drinks and snacks. Please take all litter home! 😊

Popped in with my brother for a breakfast whilst on a motorcycling tour of North Wales. Absolutely superb staff, superb quality cooked breakfast, and superb value for money. Cannot recommend enough. Thank you.

Treborth Garden Centre, Bangor has to be my favourite garden centre in North Wales. The products and plants are really lovely, and the prices are just right. I have bought many plants and trees from this garden centre over the years, and want to thank the staff for making my garden look really great! Thank-you! :)

Stermat is a great value garden centre with so much else besides . If you need it Stermat probably has it and usually at a good price. Dogs welcome. Heavy stuff carried to the car for you.

Really good choice. Number of items cheaper and better quality than B&Q, got some amazing outdoor plants and a very reasonable price. This will be my first stop next time
