Went there last month during mid-day. Not much activity when I visited, but the place is really nice looking and got a good selection of drinks and food on the menu.
God willing I'll visit again sometime when it's more busy

All I can say is excellent service, in for dinner, drinks kept coming, we intended to move on to a pub but Chris kept us in, Ireland won, which helped, our food was a hair long, which is to be expected in Bangor’s best bar, Chris has us well looked after, if I was senior management, I’d see this man with no less than three paid days off in Benidorm all expenses paid, a credit to himself and the company

Great pub to stop at in Bangor, recently has had a bit of work done. Price's are about average. Food is good as well. But have to Question reservation of tables 4 hours before booking 🤔. 👍👍

Food was lovely and the staff very attentive. If I have a gripe (and it's not really) a wee bit more variety. When I was there before you could get 3 starters for 15 pounds but there was more choice. The food we had was really lovely. 👌

But the atmosphere for a Friday was pretty cool. Not a massive pile of people, but we made our own fun☺️. Music was great and we tortured the DJ! Great fun night out 😌

Went into it after having a meal elsewhere. Just about got a seat but the atmosphere and the entertainment was electric. The first group that was on was like an Irish rock and after them at about 10pm was a DJ who played every genre of music. Excellent.

This place is an absolute disgrace!!, My mother father and son where in here today for there lunch they waited over an hour for there food when it arrived my son's burger bap was so hard he couldn't eat it my father's was the same and my mother's was freezing. Not even an apology when they complained the person asked if they wanted it changed now who in the right mind would say yes especially after waiting an hour to start with!! Maybe a starting point for your chef's is learning them how to toast baps!!!

I was in on Saturday with my little boy had a lovely lunch staff brought the child’s food as quickly as they could. They could see he was getting impatient waiting. I can’t thank your waitress Sara enough she was so helpful and couldn’t of done enough for us.

Went to Wolsey's for dinner with 3 other friends. The food was excellent, the staff brilliant. The staff couldn't do enough for us. They were so attentive and professional. They even made special cocktails for us. I would highly recommend to everybody. We will definitely be back

Big disappointment.. over an hour for food to arrive, when it did it was rotten, between hard baps on the burger and cold chips. Found staff useless and unfriendly they couldnt even do a simple task to bring mayonese to the table. Will not be back.

Waited 40 minutes on starters then another half hour on mains , very disappointed as service wasn't good staff not polite or helpful , first time here and can't say we would return , bit pricey for below average food !!

Went tonight and food was tasty, but not a lot of it. My Child was not impressed that she only got one small slice of garlic bread as her side. There is also a very small charge now for kids meals. Beware, prices stated on the menu are actually the discounted prices for Wolsey members. They add 10% on if you don't have a card! Who does this?!?!

After waiting 45 mins on our food to arrive and having to ask for cutlery we were reallly disappointed. Paid £11 for burger and chips. There was that much Marie Rose sauce on it I couldnt lift the burger up to eat and the burger bun had became soggy! The chips were barely warm and tasteless but we were hungry and made the most of it anyways. We had also ordered a large mains prawn starter £10 which the only thing large about it was the plate and a lot of side salad. When the guy left the bill he asked us was everything ok for you before we had a chance to answer he said well you have not left much!! Wont be back.

First time there ,the whole family went,4 adults 3 children an a baby , the food was outstanding , kids meals such good value .. atmosphere very relaxed ..but best of all the service ...Adam thank you for making our visit so welcoming ..will definitely be back .
