We were randomly looking for breakfast in Bangor and walked in to Bwyd Da Bangor. Excellent ingredients, well cooked and good value. And to top it off it’s community owned and a hub.

Bwyd Da (Good Food in English) is a relaxing cafe right in the centre of Bangor. Reasonable prices with very friendly staff. Having recently moved to Bangor it's now become my default cafe. There are a few gluten free options as well and there's a good community involvement. I had their Greek salad which was most impressive.

The vegetarian tasting experience was possibly the best thing ive ever eaten, and very reasonably priced too. I had a wonderful time here and would recommend to anyone and everyone
