Used to eat in here years ago when I lived in Barking was back in the area so thought I would see if it was still around. It is and still offers great breakfast and lunches and does real bubble and squeak. Top notch. Would totally recommend
Great gamily cafe with friendly staff and good food run by Al who is the owner. Free WiFi here too. Only downside is limited parking, unless you park in one of the main car parks dotted around the high street such as the Vicarage Fields in the street oppsite the cafe. I would reccomended this as a

Come to Als at least once a month to treat ourselves. The food never let's you down :) and the staff are lovely. I've recommended it to my colleagues and friends, and wouldn't hesitate recommending to anyone
A proper old school cafe serving good food at a great price. I went here once with a large group - they were not phased and were very nice to our large group that included children. One of the best in the local area.

Enjoyed humongous breakfast on a nice Saturday morning.. decent food and great ambience.. priced a bit higher.. kind enough to customise the menu as per customer choice..
We should help and support our local businesses and this cafe is a little gem,owned and run by a great couple you give a great service and amazing home cooked food ,if ur feeling hungry and in barking deffo worth checking out.
Good friendly staff especially Ali & Mary the proprietors. Food is tasty and delicious. Well worth a wee visit.
