WOW! What a Find Two days away to celebrate my birthday, and we found an absolute Gem. Staff are amazing, providing happy, smiling faces at all times, and nothing is too much trouble. Rooms are magnificent, providing 5* accommodation. Meals are magnificent but we warned they are on the large side!!
Love visiting this place. Food is fantastic every time. Well presented, great tasting. The cask ales are my favourite, love that they have their own brewery attached. Would love to stay here one time as beautiful views.
My wife and I stayed only one night but would love to return. Excellent place to stay as the room was lovely. Great food. Parking available. Micro brewery on site with option to buy. Had to move on the next day but wished we could have stayed longer. We will return. Recommend.
Amazing. Rooms absolutely gorgeous. The little added extras really make you feel special. Stunning decor. Food just delicious. Staff are extremely kind, helpful. Nothing seems to be a problem. Not that we had one. Will definitely be revisiting.
WOW what a place! Stunning location. Excellent rooms. The service and friendliness of every single member of staff is above and beyond (every single member of staff said hello). This is a little gem of a place. We stayed here on the last night of our honeymoon having stayed in 4 other hotels on our
Just there for the food. Busiest when I've been and it makes a difference. Steak Pie was lovely as is the fish pie and belly pork is good too. Great flavours in everything I've had there. Service is always good but better when it's not as busy. Only ever had the scones as a sweet but they're always
Stayed two nights bed and breakfast. Absolutely stunning throughout from entering and seeing the metal dragon and Edward scissor hands sculptures. The room we stayed in was called the Northdown, and it was immaculate with under floor heating in the shower room. The breakfasts were beautiful and we s
Very tasty food. Big portions. On the pricier end of the scale, but very good quality. Service very efficient and friendly. We sat in conservatory, which has a lovely over the countryside. Would highly recommend.
Dog friendly! with water bowls and treats available, Lovely building with a nice outdoor dining area, great menu, helpful and friendly waitstaff, food doesn't take long to arrive. I've visited three times now and it's always a nice day out for us. The staff here are really accommodating and do a gr
Stayed here for a night in the admiral suite , it was lovely , the personalised welcome note was a nice touch, the bed is huge! Best nights sleep I’ve had in ages. The staff are welcoming, food is amazing, we had fish & chips for tea and it was quite possibly the nicest fish I have ever had.. we
Love this place's definitely one of the best. Staff are always lovely and food is always amazing never had a bad experience here. Lovely atmosphere and views and great for a summer's day sat outside.
Went for breakfast for the 1st time. Very, very nice. Will definitely go again. We got there for 9am. Plenty of seating. Got very busy from 10am. Dog friendly. Nice staff. Good food.
Really nice Sunday afternoon, ceaser salad was absolutely amazing! Parents really enjoyed the roast beef. Service was really good. No difficulty in polishing off a blood orange and choc ice-cream for dessert! Parents been on holiday visiting us, and possibly might book to come stay for a few nights
Absolutely outstanding place to eat. Food just sublime, for three people across two meals, with a third to come. Right outside our cottage too. We struck gold! Highly recommend.
Outstanding in every way. What a wonderful place! Everything was top class and faultless. Our room was fabulous with beautiful views over the Derbyshire countryside. The bathroom was very high class with a huge walk in shower and a stand alone bath. The food was delicious. Well cooked and well pres
The pub is lovely and has been very tastefully refurbished, with lots of space and a pleasant conservatory space. The food was good as was the service but for me, it was very expensive, so it's more of a special occasion treat than a regular place to eat out.
Lovely food and great atmosphere. Food came nice and hot, good portion sizes.
Meals are always spot on. Service by all staff is second to none. No worries here. Plenty of choice for your meals... Hard to find anywhere better.
