A very old small pub in Barmouth. There is a good selection of food on the menu. I had the beef chilli and chips which was delicious. My friend had crab cakes and salad with a chilli dip and sour cream. She enjoyed it very much. There is a large selection of cakes in the fridge for sale. There are tables outside as well. There are no toilets, but there are some across the road. Great staff.

No toilet, you have to go to the public one across the street. Think more classic cafe than hipster cafe.
Very atmospheric place! we ordered fish and chips but to my surprise we got cod sticks instead of a whole filet. IT WAS VERY DELICIOUS!!!
The food was excellent, good size portions and reasonable £. Great views too. Will visit again.
Reasonably priced, I had steak and mushroom sandwich that came with crisps and side salad. Which I must say was very nice. 😋. The beach view aswell made it more enjoyable from sitting outside 😉

A convenient place for breakfast, overlooking the harbour. Fortunately it was pleasant enough to sit outside, as it is very dim inside with an overwhelming odour of greasy cooking, not the pleasant aroma of sizzling bacon.
Very pleasant staff, but mediocre full breakfast. One sausage, one rasher of bacon, one egg and the plate filled with beans and mushrooms and one slice of toast. It was very nice, however, for £9.99 I had a breakfast I could barely finish a month ago for the same price.
Not a place I wouldn't recommend, but if you're hoping to be fed for an all day on the beach, you may go hungry.

Spent the weekend in barmouth this week and ate at davy jones both mornings and had the locker breakfast both days was really good! Our daughter loves your toast baskets ♥️ she tells everyone davy jones locker is the best
Food was OK, one server was rude and wanted to assert her dominance which was really unnecessary. The other servers and staff were really nice, however the attitude of the young blonde girl set the presidence unfortunately. Food was over priced for what it was. Our usual place of interest had stopped serving food by the time we got there, and this was the closest place we could get food. 2 of our party had burgers and both felt quite sickly an hour after food
Stopped here for a meal when we went to Barmouth for the day. Lovely place. A bit small and dark inside but nice tables and view outside which was where we sat as we had the dog.
Lovely choice of food and big portions! Bottles beer and cider available too. Bowls of water available for the dogs and regularly filled up.
It was busy when we went but that just goes to show how popular it is.
If I ever returned to Barmouth for a day out, I would definitely go to Davy Jones Locker for food again. Thanks all.
