All I can say is that the curry sauce is by far the BEST I’ve ever had. In fact ,generally chip shop curry sauce is rubbish in my opinion. This sauce is amazing. I would of had fish but was too close dinner time so just had a small chips and my daughter had curry sauce with her order which I basica

Lovely chippy. I'm abit fussy regarding fish and chips and food from here was delicious. Courteous, friendly and efficient staff, food served in cardboard containers and put into large paper bags. Would definitely visit again when in lovely Barnard Castle.

This has got to be the best fish and chips shop. Been coming to the caravan for years and been going to Katie's on a Friday for years and we have never ever had a bad meal. Lovely people working in the fish shop. It's nice to see the young people taking pride in what they do. Thanks guys and gals. K
Lovely chips, unique for a chip shop. Crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. Jumbo sized battered sausages were cooked perfectly with a nice crispy batter. All served up in cardboard boxes and a paper bag. Quick, courteous service. Good value. Would highly recommend.

Wonderful fish and chip shop with a really comprehensive menu and friendly staff who clearly really care about the quality of the food they are preparing. I had the fish and chips first time and haggis on the second visit. Both were excellent.
