Great place to stop on A66 for drinks/brunch/lunch etc. Good parking and attractive building/garden area. Fresh tasty food and the farm shop had a good selection of tempting local and organic produce.
Really lovely organic farm shop comprising a nice café and eaterie where I enjoyed a brilliant full English. Also on site is a well stocked shop for all your food needs, which also had a stellar range of real ales, wines etc. After a long journey on the road it was a very welcome break.
Always call here in the way to the Lake District. Lovely food, nice atmosphere and reasonable prices in the cafe. Farm shop is also a must
No sheep on the roof this time, maybe next time.

Super little farm shop, packed and brimming over with quality organic goodness. Staff are most helpful and now I've tasted some of the produce, I know I'll be back! The local cheeses are well worth trying.
What a place, super friendly staff (very helpful & knowledgable butcher) amazing organic produce, safe to say we’re there most weekends and will be customers for life😁 forever recommending this place to people on our travels‼️
Lovely bacon & egg sandwiches here! 🥓 🍳 we visited on route to the lakes and it is definitely a hidden gem. The farm shop is fantastic too!
Called in today & just had time for bacon & egg rolls & cake. Best I've ever had. Lovely pleasant staff will be visiting again soon
Visited on a Saturday and they were serving their own homemade Pizzas. Lucky me, as the hot and spicy pepperoni I had was just about the best I've ever had. Service was excellent too and great little shop as well. Will definitely return.
An oasis on the A66 as we headed west. One of the few places to stop at on the A66 between Scotch Corner and Penrith. A good menu and nice food in the cafe. We just had excellent pea soup and ham and beef sandwiches.
