A wonderful cosy pub! Came here for the party in the car park and even tho the sky decided to open up on us the atmosphere was great! 😊 A very friendly crowd! The burgers were great, so juicy! And cheap!
I heard they do a banging Sunday dinner so will be back to check it out 😉
I had Sizzling steak and it was very tasty. The black bean sauce was recommend and it was really good! Cant wait to come back to try some more. Update... had a Carvery this time was fantastic!
Once again an exceptional meal and service, we were in restaurant which had quite a lot of children in and Jason moved us to different table in quieter area, very kind of him as was my husband's 70th birthday and appreciated not as much activity. Meal, steak pie was beautiful served by friendly staf
A little gem of a pub. Serves proper Sunday lunch without the fuss like your grandma would have made it. Everything fresh and cooked lovely and great sized portions.
The evening meals are also excellent. I've had a variety of meals from there and all been solid 7 out of 10s.

We've been wanting to come down the hill and try this place for over a year, as its on the doorstep, its been on our radar as a place we'd like to visit. Today we tried it and we left feeling SAD.... Sad that we didn't try it so much sooner!

Absolutely awesome this place for food, all 4 of us were stuffed! Large portions and piping hot quality food!! I need a lay down! Beware of the Yorkshire pudding starter, it's a whopper!!
