i haven't been here a few yrs. we went for my sons 10th birthday. he is quite funny with his food sometimes. everyone there loved the food and even my son was raving how good it was for hrs after we had left. would go back in a heart beat.

Called in for a bite. Staff very friendly also the owner too. Had a pasta dish and a pizza. Both great. Went there last time around 10 years ago. Still as good as I remember.

A nice and cozy place with good staff and excelent food. I would recommend this place to anybody that preffers quality over quantity (a fun fact with this place is that you actually have both). Italian food at it's finest with a good plating design. Excellent!

Really enjoyed our visit. Food was very tasty and reasonably priced as we arrived early and could order from the set menu - 2 courses and a drink for £10.95. I had spaghetti carbonara which was very tasty and cheesy garlic bread. Puddings were also delicious so definitely worth saving some space. This is a more traditional style Italian restaurant so nice atmosphere.

Disappointing. Well I have often been here in the past but not recently so thought it's worth a try because it's always been pretty good. We sat down, nicely greeted and had a quick look at the menu and ordered. The antipasto to share was fine as was the peroni. The problems started with the main meal. Literally straight after my partner had finished her starter she went to the toilet. Within a minute the main meal was on the table, she hadn't even come back! So she sat and was greeted with what I can only describe as a pile of pasta. I ordered the tagliatelle filetto, and my partner the special which was linguine and crab. I had one mouthful and the waitress was over "is everything ok?" before I'd even swallowed it. I just said fine. As I carried on I realised it wasn't really fine but not wanting to make a fuss I carried on eating it. The sauce was plain with a strange taste, it was supposed to have white wine? The fillet steak was nice but ruined by the sauce, I had tomato skins and the green stalks in my food plus you could have fed 3 people with it. My partner's was ok but again a great pile served with no finesse, crab shell and far too much crab blended into it, just over powering and not done very well. Having said that her sauce was much better. At the end of the meal I had every intention of paying for it putting it down to experience. When asked by the waitress if everything was ok I aired my grievances. She informed the chefs who then informed the manager who incidentally did not even come to see us, no problem. I asked for the bill but it never came, so we sat there another 10 mins wanting to leave. I ended up going to the counter and again aired my disappointment only to be rudely almost shouted at, " Did the waitress ask if everything was ok? " he repeated this twice!! I said yes but within a minute and again I said I have no problem paying the bill but there was shell in the pasta and my sauce was terrible. "Oh sorry" is all I got, didn't even offer to pay our drinks bill which was only a peroni and a coke!! Well I can safely say I won't be returning after not even receiving a correct apology and treated like some idiot trying it on. I think looking at the kitchen staff too this must be the most unauthentic italian I have ever been to. If you go, have the pizza!

AWFUL. This so called restaurant has the worst service in the world. We were regulars here until 2 years ago when we recieved poor service on a number of occasions. However after a 2 year absence we tried it again and the service is even worse now than it was then. The staff are rude and totally ignore the customers. we were booked in on Saturday evening for 7.30pm. We arrived at 7.25 and were told to sit there being pointed to a table in the corner. ( no attemt to take us to the table)We sat down and despite numerous attempts to attract the waitress`s attention we were promptly ignored for 25 minutes. During this time 2 other couples came into the restaurant and to a man the were ignored whilst the staff stood around talking to each other. We will never go back to this establishment -EVER!!!
