Old No 7 Pub - Barnsley - Photo album

My band played a gig there. Staff were exceptional, especially young Char on the downstairs bar, although Martin and Shauna deserve a mention because they're mint. The shandy was nice, and the atmosphere downstairs was electric. It might have been because we were brilliant. Can't wait to play again
This was a great pub for drinking, maintaining its beautiful old heritage with decorations throughout! The counter is well-presented, seating is really nice too and I had a refreshing pint of Coors. Drink was served fine but the staff attitude was off since a man warned simply saying "let's go" in e
The staff are crazy, wonderful and so friendly. It was very busy as it was a match day but their customer service remained faultless. You're dog will get a warm welcome too. Great selection of beers and nicely quirky. No food but they sell warm pork scratching. Definitely recommend.
Great bar in the town centre, this was my 2nd visit. Good choice of real ales and good banter with the happy, chatty barman! During my Easter Monday visit the football scores were being shown on a large TV. I will visit again in the future!! Cheers 🍻
Came across from Sheffield for a day out in Barnsley, staff were chatty and friendly. Everything was clean and beer was lovely. Next time we come across we’ll be going in again.
Absolutely lovely staff. Dog friendly. Best cask Ale selection this side of Masham 😉
Much improved beer selection and temperature 😊
Fantastic beer & friendly staff, good atmosphere, feels like a traditional pub but well looked after, we'll done.
Fab pub especially tha hot pork scratchings & the cheap beer on a Tuesday
Nice old looking pub with Acorn and guest beers on tap. Also a good bottle selection. Free WiFi.
Clean friendly pub. Group of guys playing violins etc, great atmosphere
Great traditional pub, wonderfully atmospheric old building, very friendly place with 7 or 8 cask ales at decent prices, great staff a good bunch of regulars and some great music! No food, unfortunately. Highly recommended 5*++
Useful pre match drink when expectations are low. Had the blonde - pale ale and a golovkin (stout). Not a real ale expert but these were two good pints
The original proper beer bar in Barnsley. A lovely oldy worldly building, boasts a very diverse selection of modern beers to Trappist ales and everything in-between. I have been a patron for 2 decades and the staff throughout the time have been of an extremely high calibre. If you appreciate fine dr
This is one of our favourite pubs when we're out in town. My partners favourite ales are served here (acorn). Staff are always friendly and welcoming. Can't wait to try the cocktails next time we're out.
Great choice of ales and bottled beers that are different to the usual chain pubs
A dog friendly pub in Barnsley town centre , the only food available was pork pies which were piled on the bar neatly wrapped in paper bags. They had no objection to customers bringing food in that they had purchased elsewhere though. A good selection of real ales were on offer too many of them brew
Good but could do with better craft beer options, very limited. Loads of handpull beer. Plenty of staff on who were nice & helpful. Very loud place with the hard flooring. Lacks the homely quality of a proper pub, more of a bar.
