First time visiting, mid week. Still busy. Decided to order food. We both had the steak and onion baguette. Food was well presented, quality good and quantity Good size . I actually didn't manage to finish mine as was too much for me. Atmosphere was busy, I think it one of those places were locals
We had Afternoon Tea and it was fantastic. The table was set up lovely. There was a lovely choice of finger sandwiches with salad, crisps and coleslaw. Washed down with tea and a cheeky G&T 😉 Followed by a huge cherry and sultana scone with clotted cream and jam, trifle and selection of buns served
Nice father's day treat. It was very busy so it took longer than normal for food to arrive but it gave us time for a chat and a drink. A full breakfast is a little over a tenner but it comes with a tea or coffee. Our kids like the potato bites but they tend not to offer them when it's busy which is
Really good pub. Food is served until 5 with a small but very well presented menu. There are always 4-5 specials on as well. They also offer a very reasonable afternoon tea. Had a great Afternoon Tea today lots of sandwiches with a variety of fillings then trifle ,scone with jam & clotted cream and lots of hot tea we were stuffed & had to take the lovely cakes home this is the second time I've had afternoon tea here & it didn't disappoint. Delicious!!
