The White Bear - Barnsley - Photo album

A great place to chat with friends and watch the world go by, while having a good drink at reasonable prices.
We love this place, friendly staff, they have started doing food, I had the small plate sausage, mash, peas, gravy, I really enjoyed it, the food was hot when it arrived, my partner had the steak and ale pie with chips and gravy, he throughly enjoyed it. My father in law had haddock, chip mushy pea
We called in for drinks its a nice pub to start in the girls behind the bar were polite but a bit slow but they were keen with the age policy and asked everyone
Friendly staff, good selection of drinks. Looks great after a recent refurb. Just a nice place to be. 100% recommended.
Nice enough busy matchday pub. Really for home fans but we got in before the bouncers were on the door and spent a couple of hours in there.
Had a great night. Bounces and staff really friendly and helpful ☺️
Nice friendly pub at reasonable prices.
Friendly atmosphere, fair enough prices for the current climate, space to sit and quiet enough to have a chat. The only downfall was the length of time it took to get served in the first place.
Was busy but was served fast as it was well staffed. Plenty of room and places to site, drinks seemed quite pricey unless we were charged wrong, pint of cider and a larger shandy was just shy of £10
Nice pub, good atmospher. Brilliant music being played on the saturday night we went in. Much better than sister pub the Courthouse
Pleasant staff inexpensive drinks and clean premises. Left my jacket and it was still there next day the staff had hung it safe.Very good entertainment provided DIRTY SCARLET ROCK BAND.
Food is top notch, the menu looks like your typical pub grub but you can tell the ingredients are fresh, locally sourced and properly prepared, not just microwaved in the back. Staff are friendly and helpful and I've never had bad service here. I just wish they had a few real ales on tap!
Great pub. Good size. Has pool table. Small deposit required to play pool but you get this back once you've returned the cues. They have live music most Wednesday nights. Warm and friendly staff. Reasonable prices. Good choice of lagers.
Started selling food think it spoils atmosphere
Great pub with a nice atmosphere and friendly service provided , although prices are high over £3.00 a pint of beer , £1.90 in chennels 200 yards away at time of writing may change again .
