What a wonderful experience- welcomed as soon as we got through the door, chose where we would like to sit, Vicki our lovely waitress was so accommodating & friendly, seemed as if we'd known her for years. Nothing was too much trouble! Exceptional service.

My partner is dairy and gluten-free - often a challenge for eating out - but the team and chef were superb.
Really lovely place in Barnstaple. As a family of 5 we each enjoyed a great filling meal with drinks and desserts. It seems to cater for a wide range of customers and had a nice, chilled atmosphere with pleasant staff. Would highly recommend.

Lots of walking and had to stop, and found the perfect spot to rest up, have something to eat and drink. Very pleased we did too. First time for me for a friend's birthday. We had the snug and we couldn't have asked for better service, food or welcome. All staff friendly and attentive.

I ate here as part of a group out celebrating a friends’ birthday and my meal was lovely. The food being served around our table looked delicious and the quantities were just right as no one seemed to leave anything behind. Be warned, the sharing platters are very large!

Called to book and they were quite abrupt about you can come at 6:30 but need to leave by 8 and they seemed a bit confused by themselves! When we got there they showed us to our table and we had a look at the drinks menus. Lots of nice cocktails, though they are reasonably pricey (£7-10)
On a day trip to Barnstaple we looked for a place for lunch and choose Lilico's, couldn't have chosen better the food was delicious , we would definitely come back .
