Tuesday 23rd April 2024 Today ⁹we visited this Weatherspoons the choice of real ales were really good there was a good choice of guest ales on and the real ale was kept in fine fettle by the really good manager and staff The pub was spacious, clean, and tidy, and the gents toilets well maintained Good local following Well done all here in looking after this pub

This is a massive weatherspoons! Usual table service via the app, usual food menu, and drinks options. But here the staff are very friendly, especially the Nottingham Forest supporter (sorry, can't remember your name) such a lovely chap ❤️ Food has been really nice, not the traditional microwaved/overcooked offering. Nice food, tender chicken, and tasty options. Will definitely return.

Our meals were delivered to our table very quickly, they were well prepared, and the presentation was pleasing. Staff were polite, helpful and pleasant. I went for coffee, but choice was limited as the milk powder had run out in the vending machine, so no milky drinks were available. Milk was provided in a flask, and black coffee was provided by the machine. Following our meals I noticed another vending machine for hot drinks. Sadly this machine, although providing milk had run out of hot chocolate, and coffee. It was one o'clock, and it must have been a busy morning.

Cannot comment on the rooms as did not stay in this spoons. Food was good, service good and staff were attentive Order through the app with no issues Was very busy on the night we visited and did struggle to find a table and sometimes to hear each other with the background noise but this was no reflection or problem with the establishment. Please note mine the step up to the women’s toilet. I nearly got caught out with that one.
