Excellent service went for high tea with my wife so much to eat brought some home. Boxes were good Idea as then can bring home what we never ate. Karen excellent service can't praise her enough. Well done
Great little place with good food, and delicious looking cakes.
Always busy , but lovely friendly staff. Lots of outdoor seating at the back or sit outside on the pavement cafe area and watch the world go by with a good coffee.
Breakfast was fantastic. Plenty to pick from on the menu. Offers a cosy friendly experience that beats anywhere else in Barry for a breakfast and coffee!
One of our regular stops when out for a ride on our motorbikes. Excellent food and drink, helpful friendly and efficient staff. And a walk around the park opposite to relax fab.
The food is excellent (especially the bacon sandwich and carrot cake). It can get busy very quickly which makes it hard to find a seat, a lot of people book tables ahead of time which adds t I’m make it more difficult.
This is a fabulous little restaurant/café/tea shop in a fabulous location at The Lake in Barry. Food was delicious, service excellent and dog friendly seats outside! Perfect.
Lovely place for a chilled Sunday morning breakfast. Good selection of hot food and cakes. Can recommend the English breakfast, pretty good value too. Nice location close to the Knap, knap gardens and Romilly park.
Lovely little cafe situated next to The Knap Lake and Gardens. Great place to stop for refreshments after wandering around Cold Knap Beach and the lake.
What a gem of a place to find. Twice in a row sat outside for breakfast. Lush food, fabulous service.

Absolutely delicious coffee, the sausage sandwich was tasty and generous. Lovely bread and very meaty sausages. Busy but service was prompt and staff very friendly. Thanks for a lovely break pause in the day.
Romillys coffee shop is a lovely place to sit and have a nice coffee or tea and nice Welsh Cake and watch the world go bye. Ice cream is very nice too.
We booked a table for 14 at Romilly's after our wedding ceremony in February and having been there before, I knew we were in safe hands feeding a huge family. The staff were incredibly helpful in the build up and asked us to pre order which made it easier for us and for them. The breakfast was delicious, the table was huge and comfortably fitted us all and everyone enjoyed a well earned fry up and enough pots of tea to feed the 500. A glass of bubbly given to us to toast our marriage was such a thoughtful touch and brought the whole morning together and we couldn't have been more grateful. Huge thank you to all the ladies, from us both!

I tried Fruit Scones, Welsh Cake and cinnamon rolls. All of those were delicious and full filling
Our absolute fave for brunch 💓 A proper pot of tea with china cup & saucer, a bacon & egg breakfast ciabatta, an extra sausage for our little sausage, a blanket to keep your lap nice & toasty outside & a little bit of plane spotting to boot 👌 It’s the simple pleasures in life. Follow this with a gentle stroll along the seafront and around the lake and you have a perfect morning spent in Barrybados - well close enough anyway!
