Nice food, good portion size, friendly staff and atmosphere. Only thing I didn’t like is another customer brought their dog in at lunchtime but that’s just me I personally don’t like animals around when I’m eating.

Nice carvery, but at the my wife and I arrived there was only 2 meats available (gammon and beef). The staff were accommodating as we turned up at the Haywain very early for our booked table. Used an offer of a carvery being £6 a person
