Been here 4 or 5 times and every time the food is incredible. Always a good service from the welcoming staff. Steak & Ale pie is just the best. Roasts also a favourite!
Absolutely top drawer Sunday lunch. Looking forward to returning for more meals!

We moved to West Ella in East Riding back in September. We are enjoying finding new places to go. Anyway we found this pub after visiting the nearby Humber Bridge viewing area. From the outside it does not look much. Went in the first time just for a drink. Very pleasantly surprised. Nice selection
This is the third time we have eaten in this pub. We only visit the area every 3 to 4 months. Food is exceptional staff are very friendly and efficient. Definitely recommend this place.
Went for lunch Thursday 21st September for lunch my wife had Chicken Caesar Salad, which she said was amazing, I had the steak and ale pie, but I must admit I’ve never had one with so much steak, the pie crust was amazing, I can only recommend 101% everything was just perfect. Thank you so much, Vi
Lovely pub. Very welcoming staff. Nice refreshment stop after walking over the bridge from Hessle. Couple of real ales on. Although we didn't eat there, plenty were.
Heard many good reports and finally got to try it out. A warm, friendly service with plentiful, tasty food. All at a very reasonable price! Will return...I hear the steak pie is to die for!
