We had our wedding reception here, June couldn't do enough for us. The meal was perfect and everyone commented on how lovely the room looked. I would definitely recommend eating here and having a wedding reception there to. Thank you June everything was just perfect xx
Had our wedding reception here last weekend and it was brilliant!! The food was amazing and every single one of our guests enjoyed the menu we had chosen, the Aberdeen Black Beef was to die for, it was so tender and delicious. The atmosphere was great and the staff were friendly and polite, would highly recommend going there for a Sunday Lunch. June and Barney made our wedding day special, nothing was too much trouble. The Old Mill is warm and friendly, staff couldn't do enough for you. The food is always consistently great, especially their roasts on a Sunday, good quality and great value, which is always music to a punters ears. There is also live music regularly and other entertainment throughout the year.
2 steak dinners with two glasses of wine £20, wonderful meal, amazing value, friendly staff within a unique setting.....what more could you ask for really enjoyed it �

Fab pub lovely traditional inside great music (must have hit on right minute to go on my last visit as walked in to Howard Jones playing and I love his music :) gorgeous fire burning on what was a cold January day, just a lovely atmosphere
Popped in for light lunch as when I rang they said they could do small portions of pretty much the whole menu. Ended up choosing one of the monster burgers. Rest of the party enjoyed their choice too. Will be back.
The service is great and very friendly, the food is excellent, eaten there a few times. I come from Scunthorpe, like to eat there when I'm in Barton 😂

We went to the mill for dinner today and as usual it was amazing, the food is always so plentiful, hot and tasty the staff are so helpful and June makes sure everyone has everything they need. Thank you, we will definitely see you again soon. Xx

Four of us enjoyed our lunch here today. Steak pie, rump steak, McGiro and chicken giro. All very generous portions and very enjoyable. Well presented food in a comfortable pub environment.

Very quirky pub in the Old Mill. Large free car park. Nice decor relaxing place for a drink. Good quality and selection of hand-pulled real ales. Friendly welcoming staff, nice quality home cooked food, a very popular Pub.
Was passing and thought we would give it a try, having never been before.
What a great meal. The wife had the fish pie. She gave this 10 out of 10.
I had the roast beef dinner. Again 10 out of 10.
And the service was just as good as the food. Excellent all round.
Had a wonderful time, food was brilliant and well worth my hard earned. Other than some 15 or so rude customers who arrived with no warning, and were purposefully snide towards the staff, who dealt with the situation very well as they couldn’t fit all 15 in for food. A 10/10 will definitely visit again, very homely and welcome with excellent customer service even against these rude people!! Well done the old mill you have a brilliant attitude a must visit if in the area.👍
Been to our favourite place for food. Food is fantastic, great friendly staff. Warm and welcoming atmosphere. Big portions, great prices. smaller plates available and just as filling. Cheesecakes are absolutely delicious.

Afternoon steak and chips. Medium rare. Cooked to perfection. You could easily pay more elsewhere. And get a lot less value for money.

Absolutely love the food. The home made chunky chips are the best so much choice on the menu. Nice friendly atmosphere. Gyros is definitely worth a try.
They were very helpful with regards my gluten free queries, the food was good, but the wait for it was fooorrrevverrr. Glad it came when it did otherwise we would of had to cancel it. Staff were very pleasant. Tables were very clean.

We had a Sunday roast. Lots of Aberdeen black beef on the plate. Lovely bar and restaurant. Wood burner fire kept us nice and warm. Bar staff very friendly and nice relaxing atmosphere. Will come again.
