Pre booked an evening meal here, perhaps a good idea to book. The place filled up quickly, this didn't seem to affect the service. Reasonable pricing for quality food, well presented in nice surroundings . The Chef is the real star here . Amazing food. Thank you .

Great fathers days meal out. Food was lush and atmosphere was lovely.
My only criticism is that high chair we used was filthy and I had to self clean it before my child going into it. But do.not let this put you off.

The staff member (sorry I didnt get her name) was attentive and helpful without being overbearing and looked to be doing a great job single-handed.

Delicious food and excellent service. Had never been to the region and didn’t know what to expect, but thoroughly loved our dinner here. They were also great with our toddler, and had excellent food for all family members.
Hands down, best takeaway food in Barton and a great Dine-in experience. New lockdown glow up for the menu and the venue make the place feel much more trendy. Brilliant place to go for food and drink whether you're looking to dine in or take food home.
Fantastic host and lovely food. Brilliant selection and knowledge of the gins available as well. Our favourite place in the area to eat and drink. Also I agree with the other person who said they have the best San Miguel in the area, its fabulous.
The nicest food and the loveliest welcome. Would definately recommend to anyone and would love to return. Never tasted a beef stroganoff so good anywhere else. The staff could not have done more to make us feel welcome. Fantastic place.

We dropped into The Huntsman by chance, on our way home to Scunthorpe. It was 5pm on Friday 23rd February 2018
There was a warm welcome on our arrival , which put us at our ease.
The atmosphere was very relaxing.
The food was out of this world !! The quality , standard and presentation was outstanding.
When asked to meet the chef to thank her, we were surprised to learn she was only 20 years old !!
Please do not hesitate to eat there if I’m the area , you won’t be disappointed.
The decor gets your attention straight away, followed by the staff; smiling, approachable and great at what they do. The menu has a variety of options - Vegan, Vegetarian, Gluten Free, Meat. Etc. If you're wanting a really good Christmas Atmosphere I definitely suggest this place to everybody - the vibe is amazing.

Really nice little restaurant that usually has some pleasant continental lagers / beers on tap and a good food menu with a little something for everything. We dropped in once by chance and now any time we're passing will stop in for meal or a bite to eat and a beer.
