A cute little sushi place with very good quality sushi for the price. We went during the eat out to help out program and made a reservation in advance. It was disappointing to have to wait 15 minutes regardless of our reservation and some other customers were in the same boat as well. Cannot complain about the food or service though.
Visited this evening with my partner & his sister. We had the specials platter and the sushi sushimi (which were to share) the sushi was tasty & fresh, you could tell it wasn’t some processed rubbish. I really enjoyed my experience & I will be returning in the future. My only criticism is that it was kinda expensive for what it is, we paid £45 for the food, 1 bottle of beer & sparkling water. We will visit in the future as a treat.
Great sushi although I'm no connoisseur. Fish and vegetarian on offer. Friendly knowledgeable staff. Definitely worth a visit.
Absolutely amazing, we've been to one of their other restaurant and the quality hasn't changed. Definitely worth a go for any sushi lovers!

Not being avid fish eaters, thought we’d try some of the hot chicken dishes for a late lunch. Firstly the restaurant is beautifully fitted, and very comfortable to relax in. The staff were extremely welcoming and friendly, also very helpful with advising us on choices.
We had the tempura prawns to start with, these were probably the best I’ve ever had, light, crispy, hot goodness with delicious sauces on the side. Next had the 3 chicken dishes from the specials board. Every mouthful was bursting with flavour, they were quite filling even between 2 people, but could eat these all day, every day. Washed down with the green tea. The whole meal was perfect. Even us non fish lovers are now planning to return and try the different options. If they’re half as good as these, then they’ll be a treat. Thanks for a great place and time to finish our day in town.
The sushi was delicious. The waitress did an alright job at trying to keep on top of all the customers coming in and out of the restaurant, trying to hear the orders and trying to calmly take orders. However, it did look like the waitress need extra hands. Overall, very good food and the service was decent for only 2 pair of hands.
First time visiting and the food was great. No complaints on the food. However, the service was okay but understanding because of the 50% discount and there only 2 young waitress trying to take the orders from constant customers. Can definitely recommend the food and can understand the service. Overall, made my first experience pleasant.
Went with four friends. Quickly got a table and menu with drinks. After looking at the menu, we asked the waiter about the items on there and he was very knowledgebls about the menu.

The food quickly arrived without any issues and was amazing. The only downside to this place would be the price but I think you get what you pay for. Overall amazing Sushi place.
Wonderful evening at The Sushi Maki. Food is delicious and the staff is very friendly. This was by far the best experience I have ever had in a sushi restaurant! I had the California and Philadelphia plates, which were really amazing.
I'm already looking forward to going back!
When for a birthday, had a taster plate, absolutely grrat
Came for dinner on a Monday without booking but managed to find a table, the meals were delicious, we tried some of the hot dishes, the chicken yakitori was our favorite. Staff was friendly and the service was fast. Had a great night!

If you like Sushi then definitely try this spot. A fresh and smart venue which provides a simple and satisfying selection of sushi dishes. They offer plenty of vegetarian options and can make most of their dishes vegan friendly too. Friendly and efficient staff. I would happily recommend this restaraut to friends.
